I love cruising. I’ve been on 11 - 10 with Carnival and 1 with Royal Caribbean. Carnival has a roller coaster on its three largest ships - I’ll finally get to try that out next year. Norwegian tends to have things like go karts. Royal Caribbean also has things like ice skating. The newest ships tend to have more than the older ships, so if you are planning to give a weeklong cruise a shot, you should definitely research some of these newest ships. You mentioned that your family likes to snorkel - there is some good snorkeling for sure on the islands. We went to Aruba a few months ago and snorkeled over a sunken warship. In 2021, we snorkeled over a sunken tugboat in Curaçao. We had a long day in Aruba - 13 hours - which gives time to do several things and explore more. We always have those magnetic hooks too.

I'll be on the Treasure in February and the Magic in July. We are Pearl members. The pools on the Magic and Wonder are much larger and better than the pools on the newer ships. The AquaDunk on the Magic is a ride where the floor drops out and you reach the bottom in 15 seconds.

Great summarization! This looks like fun but I’m with you, I like seeing stuff and going places. This would be cool I think for a few days but once I’ve seen it all I’d want to move along. Only done one cruise years ago on Carnival and it was just too crowded. Couldn’t enjoy the pool or even the deck unless you went the second they opened to get a chair. I prefer land resorts 😂
