We are very amateur vocalists and videomakers so please, instead of hating on our voices, just give us some credit for putting this together. 3. This was a really creative idea. I enjoyed the video even though you're not that great singers. You deserve a thumbs up for the effort! EDIT: Guys, I know this was inspired by Jon Cozart, but they took the inspiration and made something new. A lot of art and creative stuff is made this way. I just wanted to give the girls a compliment, because aside from the singing they actually did a decent job.

The idea was really good, the lyrics are really even good, but you guys are pushing your voices too low. Bring it up a little and you won't have to strain as much as y'all did on some of the really low notes. I can tell both of you are good singers, but you have to set a the lyrics at a reachable level. ❤️

I would like to comment on Ursula's backstory. Yes she did have a sister, Morgana but as stated in The Little Mermaid 2 Ursula was the favorite in the family and the eldest and Morgana wanted to be like her. Gothel's backstory seems to fit more for Ursula. For gothel I think a backstory that would fit is that her mother always pampers her making her a vain, narcissistic, spoiled brat obsessed with her looks but then when she noticed a white hair or wrinkles she freaked out because if she gets old she won't be considered beautiful. The Gaston's backstory is on point! Facilier's story was also good though I wish you would've added something about racial discrimination to give it a little more depth

Not the worst singing I've ever heard, just put a bit more emotion into it and it could be better. Ursula actually had a younger sister who was appreciated a lot less by their mother. Her name was Morgana and is the villain of The Little Mermaid II: Return to See, and everyone should go watch it. Okay before anyone screams at me this is called constructive criticism as in it is supposed to be helpful. The lyrics were good and I know paint approve so I applaud you. Make sure that you know the villain doesn't already have a backstory because Ursula did. All you need to work on for the video part is trying to stay in frame and not getting cut out of the frame. For your singing just practice with making sure you use air and not your throat to sing and singing on the right pitch. Once again this is not meant to be rude this is only me trying to be helpful using constructive criticism.

***** I really like your video as well, but I have two things that kinda bug me. 1. You guys didn't put much expression into your voices... It sounded like you didn't want to be there (I sing in a choir so I see it a lot) This is fine because there is always something to work on. 2. There are a few other videos that you probably should've given credit to because they did the same thing before you did. No, it wasn't just Jon that did something like this... There is a theater group that posts it's musicals on KZbin and on November 27th of 2013, they posted a Disney/Wicked musical of Jafar's side the story called Twisted where in one of their songs they had the Villains explaining themselves and their actions. I suggest you check it out, it's really good along with their other musicals. Their KZbin channel is called Team Starkid. There is also a channel called AVbyte where they made a musical number involving the villains and them lamenting I understand that you probably didn't know these existed, but please give them credit. I didn't come here to spread hate so think of this as constructive critisism.

I love this video. I don't know what's wrong with the people in the comments. Even if Paint was the one who had the original idea of "After ever after" the idea of making a villains version is still very creative. And yes the girl with brown hair is a little overweight or curvy, but calling her fat isn't nice. Her weight has nothing to do with the content of this video. It's true that they aren't the best singers, but it's not aweful and the lyrics are the really important part.

You guys did really well! I like the lyrics, but if you do it another maybe you could work on getting one part to flow into the next better. It just seemed like each of the parts were separated, rather than being pieces of a whole. Also, next time you record your voices try to set up a make shift sound booth. Nothing fancy (seriously, I think there's a way to make a cheap one out of cardboard), you can find tutorials online. You voices aren't bad, just a bit raw. Better acoustics would help, which is where the sound booth idea comes in. Of course, this is just my opinion, feel free to ignore it.
