I am hugely impressed with the level of organisation and parameters that make up your reading choices. My system is finishing a book, looking at my shelf/kindle library and going, “meh, I’m kinda in the mood for that one”. Puts me to shame. 😂🐿️

I didn't find Joyland to be all that interesting, so hopefully you enjoy it more than I did. (Also, there's a band called mewithoutYou that's done some music that I've enjoyed over the years, though I'm sure they have no connection to that book!)

I think some people are disappointed in it because they think it’s going to have a lot more horror / thriller elements than it does. It is mostly a sweet coming of age tale, and just has a bit of creepiness sprinkled in. ❤
