Disney Wish 3 Night Bahamas Cruise - Embarkation Day

As a part of our 23 nights in Florida, we took a Disney Cruise onboard Disney Wish from Port Canaveral to Nassau and then Castaway Cay, both in the Bahamas. Here's day 1, embarkation day, with everything you need to know about transfers from Walt Disney World Orlando, luggage transfer to your cabins / staterooms, the embarkation process, first impressions of the ship, the food and our cabin / stateroom, some of the adult only and family venues, drinks menus, upper deck facilities and our first night of dining on rotation, all dishes reviewed and whether guests really do decorate their cabin / stateroom doors! We just got back from our Disney cruise on the magic a few weeks ago. I absolutely love Disney cruising. It is my favorite form of vacation. I think it actually beats the parks at this point. It has all the Disney Magic that I always grew up Loving that The parks are lacking nowadays

@@TravelBlogJamie really? This was our first time on the magic. We used to have the Wonder out of the Galveston Port in Texas and we have cruised on that one three times. I would love to have a chance to cruise on all the different Disney ships, especially the newest ones to see what they are all like. An Alaskan cruise is definitely on my bucket list with Disney though

Hi I am new on here, as I only found you as my friend went on the Iona to Norway last week. I have watched several of your videos. You have a fantastic presence and your certainly very talented. I didn’t have a problem with the cost of our cruise for the extras / the quality we received. If I hadn’t seen or experienced those, I would have had a problem. I cover this in the final part since it is often asked. These sailings were also far cheaper than the U.K. ones. Those are eye watering in price.

I should have watched this one first, the ship seemed calmer or maybe you just went to quieter venues, however the dining room still seems a bit noisy. The ship looks stunning though.

Oh always start with part 1 if you have time! He he! We had considered eating in the 2 adults only restaurants but with 3 evenings on board it felt like a sensible thing to head to the 3 main dining rooms on rotation and experience those. If I went again I think I’d do more of the adult venues though. The Rose is one of my all time fav bars on any ship!

@@TravelBlogJamie Absolutely right that you should try them all, it's important for your audience. Also I suppose you'd miss out on some the theming if you just went to adult only restaurants. I'd just have to brace myself for noisy crying children and raucous adults.😂

The ship looks brilliant. The inside cabin actually looks alright. I can just imagine me and the bf up on the deck watching the sunset together.
