The pizza and the rain remind me of when we stayed there in 2015! My parents went to the fancy like boathouse restaurant and then my brother and I went and we got pizza from the food court and it started down pouring and we had to run to the room in the rain and we sat on the floor, eating pizza and watching the Incredibles and it’s one of my favorite Disney memories!❤

Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite moderate resort! If I’m not renting DVC points then that is where you will find us! Beautiful resort and easy to access other resorts without too long of a bus ride. 😊

My granddaughter and I stayed in a Royal room at Riverside in March of this year for 4 nights and we loved it!!! The resort is so peaceful and beautiful!!

POFQ is my favorite resort, and you’re right, the beignets are so worth the trip! I want to stay at Riverside eventually but it’s hard to skip out on French Quarter!

We have flown Spirit several times and have never had any major problems either! I hope your trip home was better. Curious to know how you liked Riverside. We just stayed at All Star Movies with our older two kiddos for MNSSHP and booked Riverside for 6 nights in February at the bounceback 30% off rate. To be honest it wasn't my first choice, but with a family of 5 we have limited options and it was a good deal! Do you feel like there is enough to do at the resort to have a full resort day, or is it better suited for some down time with a couple of shorter park days?

Glad to know others have had good luck with spirit too. So I absolutely love Riverside! On my last trip of 8 resorts in 8 days I actually filmed a resort day vlog sharing a lot of what the resort has to offer.
