We went to Disneyland in May for around the same price, but we got 4 park days in. Disneyland is a little bit cheaper because there are so many “good neighbor” hotels to choose from within walking distance to the parks vs Disney World where staying on property is essential. 😅

Should look into renting DVC points. It would bring down the cost of luxury hotel.

There's literally no way to tell how much it would cost. Hell, I've driven my van down there and parked at a Walmart overnight and bought one ticket to EPCOT for a weekend -- cost like $300 total.

You are brilliant. Give them the minimum because they have taken away the magic with the gouging

Wow, we’re international and we always did the meal plan option. There was something reassuring about having everything paid upfront. I know a lot of people said the meal plan was overpriced (and they were probably right), but it gave us peace of mind. I guess our next trip will be very different. Thank you for the breakdown.

We also packed food and snacks for the kids that helped keep the food cost down! Glad you enjoyed!

Disney actually doesn't do the meal plan any more. I agree it was very convenient! But even then, you still had to budget for tips.
