I can’t believe they’ve made the ice cream pail smaller! I was there in May and the entire sand pail was just full of ice cream and oreos and sauce and whipped cream, it was insane, there were 3 of us and we couldn’t finish it all

I know right, I’m so sick of their penny pinching when the prices only go up. I had an ice cream pail there when I was 7 and remember it to this day because of how big it was. We still talk about it now!

Which water park do you guys prefer? Typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach? Slide wise I prefer blizzard beach due to the thrill slides but I hate looking around and seeing snow, I get enough of that where I live. I love being in the tropical area of typhoon lagoon and the wave pool can’t be beat...

My family always got the garbage pail sundae there when we started going years ago. Yes it was called garbage pail instead of the sand pail. It original had everything sold. And included strawberries, pineapple, walnuts, chocolate, hot fudge, caramel, sugar cone pieces, M&Ms, coconut, bananas, and anything else they put on Sundaes. With whipped cream and cherries on top. Then they scaled it back a little with the toppings. But it was still served full directly into the sand bucket. Sorry to see that it's nothing more than a sundae now. At least my children have wonderful memories of eating such fun desserts!

If you are on the quick service dining plan, be our guest is the only location you can actually book a table for without paying extra I think. For the quick service location, you just show up and choose a table by yourself since it's fast food.

20 or 25 years ago I took my sins to Typhoon Lagoon. We ate cinnamon doughnut holes. I still remember how delicious they were. But I thought that was just me (or us). Other people love them, too?

Alcohol everywhere, one of the things I use to like about Disney was that there were not drunk people all over the park. I'm not against drinking but does it have to be sold everywhere. I was told that the old dance places in downtown disney where shut down because of the excess drinking, now you have people drinking in the water parks. Booze sun and water , not a great mix!

Wait... Did they take away the fried ice cream?? And thats BS about the Sand Pail. Last time I was at TL was in 2016 and they were still putting the ice cream directly in the pail but I noticed that the pail was MUCH smaller than when we got it in 2012. NOW they don't even fill the the smaller bucket and put it in an EVEN SMALLER CUP??? But charge the SAME price as when the original larger bucket?? Disney has a ton of surreptitious scale backs where they reduce the amount of food but this one is such an OBVIOUS and INSULTING slap in the face. Baciscally everything about the Sand Pail has shrunk except the price. So you're really paying $16 for the amount of Ice cream you can fit on a regular Ice Cream cone. That's bullshit. Not buying that anymore.
