I did the DCP as well back in 2012 for the spring advantage. I actually worked at the Wilderness lodge! You are going to have so much fun! Don’t let the little things get to you. You brought up Boulder Ridge Vs Copper Creek. Well Boulder Ridge is the original DVC building that opened around 2000-2001. It is technically a separate DVC property from the new Copper Creek that is a part of the main hotel and the lakeside villas. Wilderness Lodge,my home resort. We just booked for next January. I love Geyser Point. The Bison Burger is my absolute favorite . The jam is a Marionberry Barbecue Sauce.

The Wilderness Lodge is our home resort for both our DVCs, Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek. We love it there. The whole lodge feel is something special for us. We have seen the lodge go through many changes over the years. It has gotten much better but we do miss the beach area. When the cabins were built the beach was taken up with Geyser Pointe. Oh, the big bison and baby bison were moved from the front of the resort to the back across from Geyser Pointe. I could see them behind you when you were walking away from the counter service. This was an excellent video of our favorite Disney resort in the whole wide world. Thank you!

i remember when i went to disney, i was so jazzed to find the hidden mickeys. after locating 2, i couldn't be bothered to actively find any more. it was so much work for what i thought was little reward. it was more fun to just stumble across them.

@@mikesanders2861 Just that you are there for the restaurants or such, but unless you have reservations you will pay to park there. We usually come from Magic Kingdom and take the boat over. You do not get to swim unless you are staying there, but we just enjoy walking around and relaxing there.

Great job, guys! My friend did this at WL years ago - I can usually never see these daggone things (like those 3-D pictures/books years ago!), so I just walked around with her. ROTFL @ Jenn's saying "bang you head against the stone wall when you fail the hidden Mickey search". And "surprise meat". Love this video :). I’ve been to Geyser Point 3x in the past couple of months - I love the food and that amazing view of the lake. The key is whether you want to sit in that seating area near the bar. If that’s where you’re looking to sit, there is a host that you have to go to and ask to be seated. With that awesome view there were a ton of people who would just go to that area, sit down and camp out without ever ordering food, so they had to clamp down on who used those tables. The old quick service window is now a to go window which is why you weren’t supposed to eat the food ‘there’. (There are three tables on the lakefront that aren’t part of the restaurant and you probably could have taken your food there if you wanted.) My husband and I got lunch from the to go window last time we were there and rented a pontoon boat - an amazing afternoon :). Sorry to hear that they overcooked your bison burger - I’ve been able to get it medium every time I’ve been there and it’s sooo much better than when it’s cooked to well done (quick service) temperatures. If you make it to the restaurant side (the prices are the same as the to go window), the server should ask how you want it cooked. Hope this helps clarify things!

I adore Geyser Point Bar and Grill. And if you do eat at the table service you can still order from the quick service. We always go in and order a drink and then off the quick service menu and the server will bring it out to you.

I have 4 crow friends that I feed grapes at lunch everyday. They always hang out at the right time each day and come when I call if they aren`t at our lunch area... I`d love a crow friend, but unless you can get them as a fledgling they`ll be almost impossible to tame or keep as a pet.
