Since you asked at the end for more hotel ideas, I'd love to see a Swan & Dolphin, Dolphin Reserve, and Swan Reserve series with a focus on pool/food/transportation (maybe do some experiments of if it's faster to walk to the Disney transportation buses for MK) and the transportation back to the resort (I can't seem to find this anywhere). I'd love to know how often their buses run.

One of my fave Disney memories was when my sister and I stayed at All-Star Sports. We were going to the Halloween party dressed as Rockford Peaches, and when we went to the baseball section to take our “Marla Hooch, what a hitter” photos, they were playing the music from A League of Their Own! 😍

I adore this channel and the content they produce. It’s exactly my kind of humor and/or abject nerdiness. Like so many others, I feel like these videos are home movies of my friends and I hanging out and being our ridiculous selves. No moment I’ve seen so far illustrates this more than when Alan and Molly simultaneously name their favorite surfer followed by an impromptu list of other sports that could have been used as “more globally popular” options and included ping pong and cricket and NASCAR … but no mention of the literal most popular sport in the world, only to then realize later they left it out, add it to the list and then … reference a fictional character from a TV show. Totally recommend the All Stars if you’re popping in for a night or 2 because of the early entry/free parking. I just drove down to Epcot/Hollywood Studios for 2 days and a night and only paid $105 at All Star Movies

I took a short trip for my birthday at the end of 2023 and decided to stay at Movies so i could save some money (and have more to treat myself to good food!). I was honestly blown away at the renovated rooms. The bathrooms are, IMO, better than some of the other resorts. I am a fellow Tall like Alan and the showers were SO NICE. Really happy with these as more affordable resorts.

This is where we stay the most often as we are always on a tight budget but we want to be in the Disney bubble and we just need a room for sleeping and showering. I got this hotel (newly renovated room) for $110 a night in May 2023 with a Disney Visa Card perk they were running at the time. :)

We have stayed at All Star Sports or All Star Music several times and we find them acceptable. The food court is convenient and the rooms are always clean. We’re a rope drop to close family so these resorts make perfect sense for us. In the past there were 4 of us. Our kids are grown now so there is plenty of room for the hubby and I.

I sometimes do an All Stars for a couple of nights at the beginning of a split stay and they are fine, especially now that they have been renovated. Things I don't like - no hot tub at the pool, old people need a soak in the hot tub at night; no quiet pool, old folks sometimes need a pool without a lot of kids; can be noisy, old folks need quiet. Things I do like - if you are staying on property you can't beat the price, old folks need to save money; if you keep the bed up in the new rooms there is plenty of room, old folks need room to walk so we don't fall; they have actual bathtubs some moderates and deluxes only have showers, old folks need to soak their bones if there is no hot tub; an actual que at the bus stop instead of the running of the bulls that can happen at moderates and deluxes, old folks don't like to be pushed out of the way.

I love that Americans' pastime is actually a sport that was invented, and 1st ever recorded baseball game took place in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 I LOVE baseball, and I live in the city with the world's oldest continuously playing ball park, Labbatt Memorial Park. Good to know they did redo these rooms like Pop and Movies. There seemed to be confusion on if it was getting a whole room makeover or just a refresh since it was delayed due to a little thing called the panini. We've only stayed at Music and it was before the refurb, but i wasnt impressed. the bussing situation was a nightmare for us that trip. Pop is worth the extra cost. Especially when you factor in the Skyliner!

We stayed at All Star Sports last month and we were honestly surprised how nice it is. We mobile ordered breakfast every morning and had it in our room and it was delightful. I guess it's because it was just two of us (I can see how it would be less comfortable for four people) and we had no rush to be in the parks. But, let me tell you, breakfast at boardwalk was basically the same and a lot harder to get in the room.

I stayed there last year because it was the cheapest hotel on property, and despite not being a sports fan at all I had a great stay there! Usually I'm all for theming, but in this case I was glad the rooms weren't sports themed, and they're really perfect for the solo traveller! I see your AC control was also annoyingly placed where you can't read it easily.

My family used to stay at All star Sports during Christmas twenty years ago and thereabouts. That was back when if you came in on the last day of value rates you could keep the value rate for the entire stay. My Mom was a master of getting in on that last day or the second to last day, and we had multiple rooms, so it was a great deal while giving everyone more space (and more bathrooms).
