We did a similar trivia at French Quarter and the cast member gave us a trivia championship button with Ray on it. We wore it as a badge of honor for the rest trip and my husband actually ran into Alan and Molly at EPCOT right after. Best trip ever.

Poly used to be my fave. Then I stayed at Beach. Now I stay at Swolfin, because even though Beach is my fave, Swolfin is 1/4 the price, and has the. best. food. on. property. But Beach Club is still fave. I did the walk from Hollywood to Beach, last month. It's easy, even in the heat, and I beat the Friendship boat and the Skyliner by almost 20 minutes.

We stayed at Yacht Club and the whole complex is great. Love the proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and all the travel options. And it was super quiet. We have beach club booked for June but with the pool being closed for refurb we may switch over to Boardwalk. We also did Minnie and friends breakfast at CMC on our pool day.

@@ClovesDisney if it was me, i would still stay at beach. * beach (especially that building at the quiet pool) is closer to epcot/skyliner, which means easy in to france for breakfast at les halles or le creperie (both are great), and quicker walk to skyliner. it also means that if you finish your night in epcot you're five minutes from your pool. * boardwalk is the very last stop on the bus loop, both directions, to anywhere. it's really sad, actually, how badly the boardwalk guests get screwed on the buses. the buses are frequently full both coming and going, and boardwalk guests are often stuck standing, because of it. * boardwalk guests also get worst sequence for friendship. * everything at/on boardwalk is an outside walk, so, if it's raining... boardwalk is still in the best area of the property (crescent lake), but it's my least favorite of the five hotels on crescent lake. * if you are ok with a pool that isn't tricked out, look at swan. the only thing that isn't deluxe (you get just about all the other deluxe amenities) is the bus service (buses from swan/dolphin pick/drop where the tour buses pick/drop, which isn't that big of a deal, except at MK - you get dropped at TTC). you could always mouse-hack that, by walking to/from yacht club for a bus... you get friendship boat service, and you can walk to/from EPCOT and HS. it's about a 10-15 minute (.75 mile) walk to each.

I am a seasoned Disney(as is my kids) we have stayed at Yacht club recently so I know all the tips about traveling to the parks and all the transportation. We love stormalong bay and is a huge plus for us so once we got a notification that it will be closed during our stay, it was immediate let’s try Boardwalk then for our family. And we will continue our quest to stay at a resort we haven’t yet.

There are lots of food options in the general area with several resorts within walking distance or a quick boat ride. Another option if you have park hoppers is to pop into Epcot to eat. We do that often, especially during a festival.

Yes, I agree that the hotel smells so clean when you walk in. I had asked one of the cast members what the scent was and she told me it was green clover and aloe. I found the scent on Columbia Fragrance- Walt’s wonderful world. I use it in my home now!

My favorite resort! Bowes has a scent that smells exactly like the BC lobby, Clover World! It's funny, I love the smell of the lobby, but I cannot stand the smell of the Marketplace, it always smells so weird to me. I’m so happy y’all are finally doing a staycation video here! I’ve walked around this resort a ton, but have never stayed. My last trip, I did a walk of the whole Epcot resort loop, which included a stop at Beaches and Cream’s to go window and got a spiked s’mores milkshake. We loved our stay in one bedroom villa there a few weeks ago. Lazy river was the best. But, we lined up at 9:40 ish for the 10 am opening, in order to get good chairs and tubes. Cape May breakfast was fun. Lots of great character interaction. We used David’s DVC rentals. Great to work with and saved a few dollars.

The puns were a riot in this vid! 😂 Just a note as a DVC owner since 2007, when discussing pricing, an example of a Bay Lake Tower studio was described as a “standard hotel room.” This is not exactly accurate. Studios are significantly larger ; most are 400+ sq. feet, and the largest is the Poly studios at 447. The average hotel room in the US is 300. Disney resorts start at 260 for values and 314 for moderates. DVC studios also have mini kitchen areas with appliances and all have balconies or patios.
