Ummm I’m confused cause Pirates was the last ride Walt personally oversaw and I’m pretty sure he didn’t see the Florida park? I’m pretty sure pirates opened in California in 1967 and then in Florida in 1973.

I am only 15 years old but I absolutely love going to Disney World. My family and I go about once a year :) A Disney fun fact: The headless horseman actually cannot see when he riding around on the horse. The horse was trained to know his way around and memorize the route. The horse used is only used at Disney World for that purpose. When we were there one time for Halloween we overheard a cast member telling another guest about it.

i hate to be a bummer but your fun fact about Pirates of the Caribbean is actually false. the attraction originally started in Disneyland and opened in 1967 and was the last ride overseen by Walt Disney before he died. Pirates was put into Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in 1973

Gillian At Home They actually had a full-fledged plan for a new attraction called the Western River Expansion, but guests demanded that they bring Pirates to Florida so they had to scrap it. You can see concept art for the original plans and everything!
