Our first full day in Disney World!

Today is our first day at Disney world 2019 and we head over to Epcot. We get our hotel bus that takes us to Epcot and as we arrive the realisation hits us that we have returned to our happy place.
Walking through Epcot we start to remember our time working here in 2008/2009 as Cast members working in the UK Pavilion, we head into test track for our first ride and Steph designs her first car and as always the ride was amazing. We then head over and see Baymax from Big Hero 6 and give him a fist bump and of course a hug as he's so soft.
We then walk around World Showcase and tried the Coffee-rubbed pork poutine which was delicious and we also try the shaved ice at the Japanese Pavilion which we have never tried and with the heat it was so refreshing.
While we were walking past the Italian Pavilion we saw some characters on the side and it was amazing, we saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pinocchio and Geppetto.
As the heat starts to get to us we decide to venture around the Pavilion shops and quick services places to see all the different snacks and meals, but we also wanted get some air con which was a life saver!

Literally teared up when y'all were walking in and seeing custodial greeting everyone. That was one of my favorite things to do during my first program when I worked at the Emporium, getting an opening shift and greeting guests at rope drop. All the feels. I live vicariously through yall and Tim & Jenn everyday lol

I went to Disney World 15 years ago. It was a trip for my high school band. We performed at the magic kingdom. It was very hot and we had to wear our uniforms that were used for colder weather. And helmet with a mohawk feathers. I wish I could go again. You two are adorable!!

I was emotional just watching your reaction to entering the park for the first time on this trip. I totally get that; it has been two years since my last WDW trip and I leave in three weeks; I am beyond excited. Been to Disneyland in that time frame, and while I love DL it is Disney World that really holds my heart. It will be a bittersweet trip; my first (of hopefully many) to the World solo; my daughter graduated and decided to stay home and work all summer. I plan to get an annual pass this year and go as much as I can now.

I know especially in Epcot as we just get so many great memories from working there to being a guest we love it and as we havent been since 2017 the excitement level increases haha. Maybe we really want to be there for December Christmas time one year and have a festive holiday

We were there from May 26th for 2 weeks, boy that heat was crazy literally the first 6 days were 98 degrees. We got told on our 5th day it reached 101 degrees. We struggled, luckily second week was a little lower temperature wise.

Aww some of this just took me back to my happy place. I love the feeling when you are on soarin and the bit at the end where you see tinker bell and the fireworks at Epcot it just reminds me I am in my happy place. Just brilliant. Ok so this is going to make you laugh. I absolutely love the iced mocha had at the start of the vlog. When I am at WDW o am fuelled on joffreys iced mocha. Lol. In all the times I have been to Epcot I have never ever noticed the joffreys hut at the entrance 🤣😂🙈. How is that possible? I will defo remember the next time! Lol xx

Krispy Smore - we were in Orlando for the whole of June last year. Didn’t visit one park though we were too parked out from previous trips and used it as a base to explore. Missing out this year and already getting withdrawal symptoms but looking forward to going next year with our son and his family to celebrate his 40th and my 60th. Then the year after with our daughter and her family. I can’t cope with all the grandchildren together. Lol

I worked at Universe of Energy and Body Wars in 2000, and I remember when they announced my group in that circle. It was pouring rain, but people were still clapping for us. It was a special moment...too bad new Cast Members don't get the same experience :-(

So at Clarion inn they start from 7am till around 2pm to disney, universal and seaworld parks. But when you arrive theres a tickets and information area where you get the bus times. They are really good and the return times are also late as well. Thanks for watching X

Yes when Disney announced the new entrance refurbishment it said that they would be moving all the Leave a Legacy plaques to a new location outside the Epcot entrance. We guessed it could be near when you get the buses but sadly nothing has been announced where the location will be. So fingers crossed we find out and then we can see little Stephie again X

Sadly not we were mainly based i the UK pavilion. Stephie did the College program in 2005 and worked in Custodial at MGM/Hollywood Studios. But the year program you have to work in the UK pavilion X
