I'm 72 & I grew up with so many good TV Shows, they were in glorious Black & White because there was no color shows back then, even Mad Magazine made a spoof on it too. When Zorro (Guy Williams) brought Zorro to life he was an instance smash like other Disney he was, Walt Disney really knew who to choose & what show to put them in to make that show a success. fact is-The Swamp Fox, Davy Crockett were very real people-Zorro was only a fictional character but what a good fictional he was, all 3 shows were a hit & couldn't people wanted to see more. Another good TV Show-The Rifleman A real good western, McHale's Navy-Adam 12 & others. As progress does make changes TV was finally made into Color. The first color show I saw was The Johnny Carson TV Show, Singer Tiny Tim got married on his show a very true wedding & the only 1 to ever take place. I got lucky a family out in Colorado they sell DVD'S, Movies & TV Shows, my collection has really grown, since meeting them. I have a new TV, but no cable, because I must have at least a 1000 DVD'S between movies & TV Shows.

Ah! The 'thrilling days of yesteryear!' I was a kid when Zorro and Toronado raced across the screen in my living room! One of my first TV heroes, along with... Kirby Grant as...(can you guess?)

Yes! I can guess Kirby Grant's role... The proud owner of the Cessna "Songbird"... in "SKY KING!" In fact, I own a wooden model replica of the famous plane in my collection!
