Amazon will probably be the way I get them, as it took a while for my Toys R Us to start stocking the first three. And, yes, TakeFiveADay is awesome. Been following them and CarsTheToys since 2009.

RCcars5 A Toys R Us close to an airport in my state (yes, a Toys R Us next to a freakin' airport) that I visited back in August had the Fillmore's and Flo's playsets at full price, along with a boatload of the first three precision singles. Sooner or later my local TRU may end up with Flo's and Fillmore's finally. I've noticed that TakeFiveADay hasn't been posting on weekends in recent times, but CarsTheToys too? Sad to hear that. The Cars diecast community is such a great place!

JEHMSZ That's strange lol! I've seen the buildings at some Toys R Us stores too. Since the first wave of singles is still sitting on the shelves, I don't think they'll get in the second wave any time soon. You're exactly right. There isn't as much activity on them because it's much easier to share finds or information on social media websites, such as Facebook, Google Plus and KZbin. While it's sad to see those forums lose their enthusiasm, it's good for us KZbinrs!

DADGUM!!! I literally dreamed of this Mater when I was 8!!! Who woulda thunk that 8 or 9 years later it would come true thanks to the Precision Series?! I wish the cable was just a tad longer but that's ok! Maybe if I make a notch big enough for Mater's hook to attatch to McQueen's rear bumper it'll work! Obviously I'd have to use a reemer. Thanks for the review RCcars5! Mondays are mh least favorite days but you made it 10 times better my friend! Oh, and it's a relief that the tow cable is like those pullies that you put your work badge and keys on and retracks the cord on its own. Could you imagine the horror of trying to wedge your finger in there to wind up that cable?

RCcars5 I know right? The Precision Series definitely has it's ups and downs but what toy line doesn't? Even with Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series 6 inch toys or something like that has flaws every now and then. Great review! Congrats on 2,500 subscribers! That's unfortunate that this Mater can't really tow a lot of cars. I like the Mater that came in the set better because I thought this Mater would be able to tow a lot of cars. At least he tows the road trip cars!

Great review. I like the PS mater w/ the set better; all about the expression for me, plus the working tow cable is nice but it doesn't look as nice as the plastic one. I found PS sheriff at walmart along with 4/7 of the RT singles.

Awesome video! Although I too have grown to this expression and all of new painted features, I am actually a little disappointed in this release because the working tow cable doesn't work very well. I definitely prefer Mater with working lights. It was a good idea, but I would probably say he's my least favorite PS car and the one with working lights is probably my 5th or 6th favorite. Mattel really should've made a place for it to connect to the Precision Series cars in my opinion. Again, awesome review!

I actually used a lego hook with a long string and a roll so 1 tied the roll thing under the all the strings on mater and I can use the hook to tow McQueen and it worked guru have to hook it around the tire rink but it won't tow straightforward more like to the side

The Single Version doesn't have a gap between his teeth, while the Set Version does. I'm disapointed that they didn't include that detail, but the functional hook makes up for it. Also, I like the Set Version's expression better. Wouldn't it be cool if Mattel released a Presicion Brand New Matter, similar to what they did with Dirt Track Doc?
