Pin twins (on more pins than I'd like to admit)! I was at Disneyland the week before D23, so I was able to get the Jungle Cruise Crest, Doom buggy slider, the HM 50th mystery boxes, and Mr Big PTD! I also was lucky enough to have someone pick up the Fairy Tails Figaro and Cleo pin for me! Although I'm definitely still on the lookout for that Belle and Philippe pin... you just made me want it even more lol!

Holy WOW!!! Now *that* was a haul & then some!! 😁😁 Loved all of it. I’ve already seen so many of the Fairy Tails pins, but it was nice to see them again, as they really put together some amazing sets for it. One thing though...From the moment I saw this one pin, I’ve been wishing Disney would do a line of Merch for it & I mean a complete line at that. Shirts, mugs, signs, bags & whatever else they could come up w/for a line of Merch for Meeko’s Munchies!! Out of all the pins I saw for this Event, that one just to me? It screams “Do more than just a pin!!!” Maybe my lack of sleep’s showing itself, but I think it would make for a great line of Merch. They could even come up w/Pet related things for it too. Anyway...Am I losing it (You really don’t have to answer that...😉) or do you think I’m on to something here? I really think it could work & be a great addition too. Meeko’s just one of my very favourite Animal Sidekicks & there’s so little Merch for that spunky lil guy, which I think is a shame & a half. Anyway, there’s my Flight of Fancy for tonight. Let me know what you think please? 😊 I *love* that bag!! That would be so perfect for someone like me who goes to so many Sporting Events where Pin Trading’s a part of it all. At the Major Curling Championships, Pin Trading’s an Unofficial Event all on it’s own & there’s so many Pins available at the Major Skating Championships as well. Not *as* many as there used to be or like it still is at a big Curling Championship, but there’s still some Skating Pin Trading to be done at Events. It would also be perfect for Girl Guides/Scouts too if they’re going to a big Event like, in my case, a big Provincial Weekend Get Together or going to a Major Conference for Guiding/Scouting. It would work for so many different things!!! I especially love that the straps are adjustable & it looks like it could be a crossbody bag...Right? Considering I really only have one hand free due to using my White Cane when out & about, being a Crossbody Purse? It usually tips the score towards the bag coming out of the store w/me. 😁😁 That one’s going to have to go on my Birthday/Christmas Wish List for sure. 😁 On that note, I really need to get downstairs & my Meds for tomorrow together before I literally fall asleep here at the keyboard. Between the excitement of the Men’s Free Skate from Skate Canada & Mom being sick for the 2nd straight Saturday night in a row...I did not get any sleep last night. At all. Think it was around 9:45 this morning I finally drifted off & 10’s when I take my AM Meds, so...Great timing on my part, huh? 😄😄 I did get some sleep after that, but really do need a full night’s sleep. Especially w/the week I’ve got coming up. Wednesday’s my Birthday, then Halloween Thursday & maybe going over to my Sister’s in Sudbury. I hope that is, but depends on when we can get a ride w/this Service Mom can use as a Senior & I can ride along as her Escort. She told them Friday, thinking the reason we’re going over was Saturday, only it’s not. 🙄 I really do hope we get over for Halloween. We’re sooo Rural, we never get any kids at all & I miss that. If we’re at my Sister’s though, that’ll be fun to see all the little ones dressed up. Got my Star Trek Deep Space Nine/ Voyager Medical/Science Blue Shoulder Slash Uniform Tunic all ready to go into the suitcase if I can get it switched. Can’t say I’m not prepared!! 😁😁 Then Friday...Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir bring their Tour Rock The Rink to town. What really makes it must see is a little surprise announcement they made just before the Tour started. They’re retiring from Skating & I don’t mean to only do Shows either. They’re retiring retiring. Now...Considering how last year’s show was more Miss than Hit, & that’s not just me, but Friends & Family I talked to who were there too, then what the price of just one ticket was.... I’m wondering if Sales weren’t going well & they decided to do this to prop them up. Reason I say that is now when they’re doing Interviews, they’re not ruling out returning & are now calling this a break from Skating. That’s not what they said in the Original Announcement they did though. So, that’s got my Spidey Sense tingling. Then there’s the price...Close to $140.00. Becca, I don’t pay that much for my Annual Stars On Ice in Toronto ticket & I’ve sat everywhere in Toronto for Stars. From the On Ice seats, all the way up to the nose bleeds & never that much. This Tour isn’t doing the huge Cities either, but smaller sized ones, where many are one Industry towns. Like Sudbury. It’s still a Mining Town, although we have made strides in getting other Industries/Big Companies to invest & build in Sudbury...It’s still a Mining Town. So, when you stop & think about what the Salary of the average Miner is...Can they afford to take...Say....Just one of the Parents & a Child whose fallen in love w/the Sport to this show? Not a chance in Hell!! Now...Maybe I’m just being overly cynical here or overly suspicious, but at the same time... I can’t put my finger on it, but something’s just got my instincts screaming that something just does not feel right about this. Hope I’m wrong. It’s not going to keep me from having a good time on Friday night, but at the same time... Let’s just say that after what the Second Act of last year’s Show was like? I’m keeping my expectations low & hopefully will be surprised. We’ll see. Anyway...I really do need to go to bed. O M G the winged donkey is Burrito from “The Three Caballeros”! Haven’t seen that movie in a LONG time but what a nice surprise that he’s on a pin! I loved him as a kid, he’s very cute. ☺️ Gauchito (the little boy) finds him in the Andes Mountains I think, but I don’t remember which country in South America Gauchito is supposed to be from... Maybe Peru? And Merida’s horse is Angus! That whole It’s a Pet’s World frame is adorable beyond words. I love the concept and art style! (Mary Blair ftw!) Looking for advice... I got my hands on a D23 Heroines and Sidekicks pin, but it's flawed. There's a noticeable divot on the skirt as well as an uneven line/wave that really catches the light. Should I buy a replacement? I'd hate to spend $60+ only to get a pin with similar (or worse) flaws. Are flaws like these typical with MOG/WDI pins, or is mine an aberration?
