Sweet And Simple Home I loved it so much. I wish both parks were easier for me to get to. They are so different! Disneyland is so much more concentrated and I love that both parks face each other. People there are also much more laid back, probably because most are daytrippers who know they don't have to see everything in a day. I love the West coast!

Yay for Gillian in CA! Your reaction on Tow Mater's ride was worth the price of admission alone! :D I was so worried about your ears on the Radiator Springs ride . . . ! It's interesting to hear your comparisons between WDW and DL/CA. I've heard many, many people say that after experiencing both, they prefer DL/CA. Not everyone, of course! I read a trip report on Disboards from a die-hard WDWer who traveled to CA with a friend who was a cast member at WDW, and even THEY preferred CA to their own home-town park. Bottom line is that even though it's smaller, there's so much different and special there that it clearly makes it worthwhile to visit. Right? :D

SO fun! We rode Grizzly River Run at 10pm on the Friday and my husband got SOAKED, I think his shoulders were dry. A cast member told us apparently at night you get more wet because there are less rafts on the river so the water is higher. Looks like you are having an amazing time.
