15:00 Me, my sister and Dad were starting to walk down main street at that time. It was one of the last vacations we did together before my Dad passed away late 2017. I put together the 60th Disneyland Anniversary Puzzle and hung it up in my room in memory of my Dad.

Thank you , The DIS . It makes me feel good that there are people like you all who care about those who couldn`t be there enough to share this . As cut down as I feel about The Disneyland Band not being in the ceremony and they trimmed out the piece of Walt`s Dedication of Disneyland , I think that this was a good intimate ceremony for Disneyland's 60th . I still find myself enjoying this because there is no better way to pay tribute to Walt himself than with Richard Sherman being there . I wish that I could have been there at Disneyland this day and met him myself . And Ashley Brown looked as beautiful as she sings . :) So really , It is enjoyable . Man, too bad the camera faces this way. I'm not far behind the people in the front. I had to get to the park super early that day but it was a great day. I got my "I Was There" button, complimentary newspaper about Disney's opening day in 1955, and cupcakes! I even got all dapper'd out that day too! I plan to be there on the 70th, and 80th when they open the "time castle". Hell I'll even try to be there for the 100th. I'll be nearly 70 when that happens.

Disney is getting lazy. I was there for the 50th (it's also my birthday) and I was working at the resort at the time. I thought the ceremony on the 50th was better. Of course one could argue that 50 is a more significant anniversary than 60 hence the bigger fanfare but this and the whole "celebration" felt lackluster to me. Don't get me wrong, Mr. Sherman is truly a legend and I'm glad he was represented I still felt left wanting more. The new shows are second to none and I love the new night time parade. Still is this more about the history or about the merchandising opportunities?

Some people say that Finland is the happiest place on earth it was in a magazine the picture in the magazine was so dark and dreary 😔 Disney world is the happiest place on Earth and Finland being that is a big JOKE and The song Feed the birds is so poinent for today’s society it only takes tuppance to make a difference and also it was so dark how am I supposed to vacation at that place
