Our second day of adventure is to Disneyland Park during the Pixar Fest. Our 1st stop is to tell you about what you can find at the Information desk for fun free giveaways. (That includes Birthday and, 1st-time visitor badges). Then we stop at the tour desk for an introduction of the park's guided tour options.
Our plan was to have a fun day experiencing some of the more relaxing and comfortable rides and entertainment venues, like the "horseless carriage" (and the driver's comedy), the Tiki Room, (A great place to get away from the summer heat day), the Golden Horseshoe, the Riverboat, the train, monorail, and a few enjoyable dark rides that we hadn't been on in a long time.
Off at the train ride exit, we discover for the 1st time the outside amphitheater in Toon Town! What an amazing showplace for kids and families. We stopped and joined The Pixar Fest show that was playing and met a favorite Pixar character, Edna from The Incredibles!
Of course, food can always be quite the experience at a Disney park. So, ice cream had to happen.
A day at Disneyland can sometimes be stressful if the goal is to ride all the rides you can squeeze into a day. So, our goal in this video is to show that there can be an alternative experience to get the most out of your time at Disneyland; in a wonderfully fun yet easy-going day.
