This looks so awesome. You are a brave person to have flown a drone over the park! Still can't get my mind wrapped around how you pulled it off because I've always heard Disneyland doesn't allow people to fly drones over the park
@maddrummer9108 жыл бұрын
They don't the new dji go app has this programmed as a no fly zone so you are unable to fly there. BUT this is an older phantom :)

@@maddrummer910 luckily, there are ways around no fly zones.

aside from the legality of this video, it does show how much wasted space there is in tomorrowland. i'm referring mostly to the innoventions building (originally carousel of progress). when they finally do get around to remodeling tomorrowland i hope that and the peoplemover station are first on the chopping block. i loved both those attractions,but if they can't bring them back in some form,just level it all and start over. taking out the peoplemover would open up the always crowded walkway into tomorrowland,and in the area of innoventions they could put several small rides,or one huge ride. add the pizza port to the list for demolition and they'll have even more room. i just hope i live long enough to see it happen.

It's not legal but DJI gives you permission unlock the geofencing in the area. It's a bit scummy

would it have been against drone etiquette to try and land on the roof of space mountain?
@thomasesthomas19967 жыл бұрын
Very professional. Never went below 200 feet, so did not violate property permit laws. I like the choice of music too. Very well done.

If you can, please go back and do this now while everything is shut down. Might get some really interesting shots especially of some construction that they are doing in the hub near the castle!

No 😊 But I'm not sure it has the infrastructure to support anything either.

wow, im sure you are aware of the no flight zone in this area, and how it can cost you 10k fine and FAA107 license revoked right? i mean someone had to do it hehe i always wanted to see a video while the park was running,

Don't do that. It was illegal back then and continues to be TRF for National securty reasons. back then there was not much in the way of tracking. Now there are systems in place to sense and track drone especially in controlled areas and "permanent" Temporary Flight Restriced Areas

How were you able to do this?? In another guys video he tried to fly over Disneyland and because it’s a no fly zone his drone wouldn’t take off and had a warning that said no fly zone and it was a DJI spark

Troy Burge this was long before the Spark and in fact before there was any regulations

The Disney restrictions have been in place since 2003, thanks to a provision quietly slipped into a massive congressional spending bill weeks before the Iraq war. Defense and counter-terrorism officials did not appear to ask for the Disney protections, which were instead urged by at least one Disney lobbyist, according to an Orlando Sentinel investigation in 2003.
