Just got back from Pixarfest! Last time they had cups and bags that said Pixar Fest! it seemed to be a bigger deal last time. I did enjoy the parade.

Honestly Pixar fest is overrated. It shouldnt be at both parks. All things Pixar should stay at DCA.. The whole little Mermaid Ride is all wrong at DCA. Disney should get rid of nemo subs and put Mermaid there and put the Nemo Ride like at París or one of the Asian Disney parks bc Idk which one it is but its a roller coaster at DCA. Pixar Club should of been a day thing for kids then at night 6 to closing adults only.. the parade is boring. Each Pixar Movie needs their own float theyre ain't many Pixar movies anyway. Honestly its too long of a celebration for so little offered and to start it right when grad nights happen wrong choice. Should be at most mid july to end of august or mid august. Honestly a mediocre fest for what ppl pay for and for Disney to be greedy and not really invest into it yeah so wrong. Thats my take

I think Pixar fest being successful or not is more so based on whether or not it’s Disney’s intent or main goal to bring in more income during the summer, especially with some pass holders being blocked during the summer. If they’re trying to attract more outsiders to purchase tickets and come during summer vacation, then Pixar Fest might seem a little bland, whereas for a regular pass holder it might just be an overlay feel for sure.

Pixar fest looked so amazing when it first started. But now that it's been awhile it seems to have died down. We are coming in July and I'm super excited about Pixar fest! So I hope it's still going strong. Maybe it's just going on too long for you guys that are lucky enough to go so often. We are hoping to see you guys there when we are there too!

Thank you for asking! I think Pixar Fest was a Fail. I was there on opening day. I assumed everything was at DCA . Had no idea about that dance area at Disneyland. I was disappointed over the cheap themed decorations. The characters are cartoon versions of the characters, gave me Flintstone vibes. Happiest place on earth and the Club Dance performance emphasized Sad Angry and Depressed? 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ No food booths (like the Food & Wine fest)

I think Pixar fest is an overlay, as Spence said. Some might put too much weight on it, and expect it to deliver more than just a way to appreciate stories delivered through the Pixar studio
