Two occasions to be at Disneyland this evening. It's the day after Christmas and I dont believe I've ever done this before. I'm very curious to see how things look. And two, I got fancy cam back, and I've missed her so much. So tonights video will be 100% gorgeous to look at.

I don't want Christmas to be over, but, work calls (dang). We went to Disneyland in early December (our 2nd trip there) and loved it. We stayed at the Grand Californian. We'll be back. Happy New Years to the Fresh Baked Family and Muffins.

@@HillVillageDragonThe name is basically a celebration of leftovers! they'd be "boxed up" and given out to domestic servants, who'd worked crazy hard through Christmas day, and the servants had free time the next day while the Family ate left-overs and made their own tea! So historically a significant proportion of the population had their holiday the day after Christmas day, with a box of goodies.

FreshBaked, David, The camera is just so good at night. Also the best time to stroll N.Orleans Sq. Tomorrowland Station could do with a bit extra tomorrow.I.E. A Tron style roof. You might just have discovered the best evening of the year to be at D/Land. But they are all great. I was at Disneyland Christmas Eve from 7am until 12:30am. Great Day. I was there Christmas Day 7am until i floated away at 10:30pm. also a great day until the heavy rain hit. I would have stay until close, but my friend needed to leave. The Toy story buses were packed, so I walked her to the Toy Story lot. Then walked back to the park. So, much rain. For a San Diego boy. Tornado warning at midnight. WTH.

Thin crowd? Most of the major mountain passes in Southern California were closed due to snow beginning early the morning of the 26th. These included I-5 across the Grapevine, SR58 between Bakersfield and Lancaster/Palmdale, and I-15 through Cajon Pass. Out-of-towners couldn't get to the Anaheim-LA Metro area and thousands were stranded on the highways. I saw TV news interviews with several groups of people stranded on the Bakersfield side of the Ridge Route (I-5) who said they were, in fact, trying to get to Disneyland.

I actually went on Christmas this year... and I gotta say... it was not NEARLY as busy as I thought it would be. In fact, I would say it was less busy than Christmas Eve this year. (Christmas Eve was pretty busy in the morning, other wise it was fairly the same for both days).

When we saw how long the lines were and no fast passes were available, we just decided to leave. It was miserable.
