I hope you are also going to Walt Disney Studios. You NEED to ride Crush's Coaster, it's unlike anything in the American Parks. Also Stitch Live! is fun (basically like Turtle Talk with Crush but often sassier). You should also check out some of the other hotels. Hotel Cheyenne is a super cute place that's fun to walk around even when not staying there (plus it's soooo budget friendly). However, Srquoia Lodge is my fav Paris hotel, so you picked a great one ;).

I must have been to a different disneyland paris for the last 22 years of my life. Every time I have been, the food was fine. I never had any complaint with the food. I just know you’re gonna get the standard fries and burgers in the park and you have great restaurants in the village aswell, and then you can have better dining in the more expensive restaurants. I’m sorry you had this experience.

Maxwell, I had never seen that dragon before I saw it via your video the other day. It is mightily impressive. So, I then saw several (many) other videos of it. And most of the time there is no steam (smoke?) coming out of its nose. Sometimes there is some additional haze - stage fog - but usually, there is nothing. Just the very impressive animatronics. I am so glad that you captured the steam escaping its snout! It appears to be pretty rare! 💥💥💥

Fun Fact: Almost all of the chefs, cooks and restaurant workers in the opening year quit because they were made to serve meals with frozen food instead of fresh produce. Maybe that's why restaurants are hardly open there, because they're still trying to make the workers serve frozen stuff.

The dark rides all have an extra row of seating which increases capacity. I missed the Alice maze since they closed it at 9pm. The park operations seems a ittlle odd compared to the US parks.

I’m coming to Disneyland in October and you should make a video on how to effectively go on every ride, since I have less than a week there, just a video suggestion though
@cutebaby05aj65 жыл бұрын
Welco Bro I have an annual pass and go there regularly. It’s really going to be quite impossible to do every ride unless you get a two day pass, and do one park a day. So one day do Disney, and the next do California adventures, (Disneyland has more rides though) Pro tip! If you get a parkhopper ticket, get there early right when the park opens and get fast passes for the Radiator Springs Racers in California Adventures! Those fast passes run out super quickly! Fastpasses are going to be your best friend when you go to Disneyland because they let you cut the line! Below each fastpass ticket they give you a return time along with a time where you can get your next fast pass so be attentive of that! After you get your fastpass I would suggest going over to Disneyland and riding Peter Pans Flight because the wait time is usually 40 minutes all day and its the best kid ride in Fantasy Land in my opinion :)! Not all rides have fast pass options! For the Disneyland park, I recommend getting fast passes for Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Matterhorn. For California Adventures definitely get fastpasses for Toy Story Mania!! The wait time is always ridiculous for that one! Also Guardians of the Galaxy and the Incredicoaster you should get fastpasses for :)! They also offer things called a ‘buddy pass’ which lets you and one more person cut the line! You can ask for one of these to ride Monsters Inc. if it’s too packed :)! They also have single rider lines which I recommend going to if the lines are too long and you don’t mind going again by yourself :)! I hope I kind of helped! Also the Haunted Mansion might either be closed for remodeling in October or it might already be remodeled and the line usually is really long because it becomes Nightmare Before Christmas themed! So a fastpass for that too if its open! Wishing you the best in October! Take your own snacks and water too because the prices are ridiculous over there

England is to industrial. You would see cranes everywhere. Unless it's in like outskirts like where Alton Towers is then that's too bad. Also there won't be enough space as Disneyland has multiple parks inside the resort. We also have storms, rain, high winds. It couldn't survive in England. It wouldn't be successful.
@TiffanyAllen17844 жыл бұрын
The issue with food in Disneyland Paris is that Disney wants to run restaurants on American standards and the way they treat employees isn't legal in France. People here aren't owned by their employers. They make better money, are expected to work fewer hours, and don't count on tips. (Though it is still considered polite to leave something, regardless of how many tour guides try to tell you otherwise.) You're going to make more money and have better benefits and hours at most other restaurants, so why choose Disney if you're a server or a chef? A nice experience at a restaurant in France could last 2-3 hours. Most people don't want to buy a theme park ticket and then spend half the day at a meal. Fast food is what most visitors are after in a theme park. And there are really nice restaurants. Pizzeria Bella Notte and Fuente del Oro aren't among those nice restaurants, though. They're like going to Sbarro or Chipoltle--fine if you want a quick(ish), relatively tasty bite to eat, but definitely not (or intended to be) haute cuisine. People don't start work at the crack of dawn here, either, and few people would consider having lunch before noon or dinner before 7pm. A lot of places close between the lunch and dinner service hours, too. A technical issue could happen at any Disney park. It's kind of douchey to wait around at a restaurant before it opens, get annoyed that they have a problem that delays their opening, and then go "Ah, Disneyland Paris," like that explains it. Customer service feels different in France because employers aren't allowed to treat their employees like shit. But it also means that the (now exclusively) American-owned theme park has trouble finding Europeans willing to work at what amounts to a pretty lousy deal compared to other employment opportunities. The parks are literally always recruiting because the employees tend to either be deliberately short-term college students, people who start working there and then realize it's one of the worst jobs in France, and the amazing, adorable CastMembers who do it because they love working at Disneyland--not because it's a dream job by any standard measurement. So, it's not "Ah, Disneyland Paris," it's "Ah, shitty American capitalistic standards don't work here and the resort suffers because Disney doesn't want to treat their employees any better than they legally have to." It's the same reason painting was happening during the day--France actually has labor laws that protect workers, so most work happens during working hours. The parks are open from around 8am until around 11pm in the summer. There's not really much daylight time available when guests aren't already in the parks. And even if labor laws allowed them to do all the work at night, it wouldn't be a wise choice for this park because there's a hotel attached to the park entrance. Guests who stay in the Disneyland Hotel already end up hearing and seeing things from nighttime rehearsals of new shows, and nobody complains about that, but imagine how annoyed you would be if you shelled out that much money and were kept awake by bright lights they'd need for painting or construction noise. I was born and raised in the US. I've been to both the parks there. Frankly, I prefer Paris, and not just because Hyperspace Mountain, (RIP original theming) Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, the castle, etc. are ALL better than they are in the US parks. I LIKE knowing that the wonderful CastMembers I interact with have more legal protections than they would in the US. They deserve more than they get even here. But if you're going to criticize a place, maybe next time do it during the editing process? The CastMembers here work hard, too. It's all kinds of rude walking around making judgmental comments while you film things. Even your friend seemed uncomfortable whenever you made critical comments. We know it's far from perfect, but that's a combination of 1) an insanely wealthy American company that practically abandoned the resort from a financial standpoint when it didn't start turning a profit immediately, 2) the furious catch-up game they're playing now that they are prosperous because everything was let go for so long, and 3) an American company trying to run a business using American standards in a part of the world where employees are generally treated better. You aren't adding anything useful to the conversation by acting all "oh, how typical," when you've been in the park less than 48 hours.
@ddc1632645 жыл бұрын
The reason for your confusion about the opening times is that at Disneyland Paris schedules are just a suggestion. They open when they feel like it and sometimes close that way as well. We were there at the scheduled opening time, only to find that the park had opened already for over a half hour. When we asked why, the cast member manager said well they just felt like it should open earlier. No it wasn't an "early morning" thing (we were staying at the Newport Disney hotel), because it wasn't a standard time. It opened about 40 to 45 minutes early. NOT on the hour or half hour. While it's a pretty park, you could not pay me to go back. Cast members were awful. But this was BEFORE Disney bought out the park in the last year or so. We were there during the 25th.
@TiffanyAllen17844 жыл бұрын
That is patently false. The official opening time of the parks is 8:30am if you have access to Extra Magic Time, and 10am if you do not. If crowds waiting to get in are large, they sometimes start allowing guests to enter shortly after 8am, (in the main park--the Studios parks always open at 8:30 for EMT) and visitors without EMT can start entering around 9:30am, but typically can't access the lands with attractions until 10am. The parks close after the Fireworks/Projection show ends. The exact time varies somewhat because it depends on how long guests take to leave. I don't buy for a second that a CastMember told you anything of the sort. I grew up going to the US parks, but hands-down prefer DLP Resort. The CastMembers are lovely. (But I wouldn't be surprised if you're one of the treasured guests they complain about on their breaks.) You sound unpleasant, though, so by all means please do stay away.
@ddc1632644 жыл бұрын
@@TiffanyAllen1784 You are calling me a liar and that I will not stand for! I HAD access to early morning hours and used them when they were available. That IS what the cast member told me and HAVE closed the studios BEFORE posted times! It is documented in various places. Yes this DOES NOT happen for Disneyland Paris itself, but DOES happen for the studios park! If the parks are crowded they, like the American parks don't "close" per se, they just don't let in anymore guests until the levels drop. If they don't then the park will stay "restricted" until closing time. Oh BTW that was CONFIRMED when I went to Disney Corporate headquarters after my private tour and asked about it. So you DON"'T know anything about what you are talking about. Also you can stay at that park and keep it. Maybe that is why it is LOSING so much money and had to be BOUGHT OUT from the French! I have been to almost all the international parks and while very pretty by far it is the worst run!

Paris is more than an hour away, and its proximity is WHY the food in the parks isn't comparable. 1) Why would anyone choose fine dining in a theme park over Paris? 2) Why would a decent European chef want to work there instead of in a better paid position in the city? It attracts chefs who also happen to be mega Disney fans, maybe, but it's never going to attract top-notch European employees as long as it runs on inferior American employment standards.
@colorcodetrader40325 жыл бұрын
Disney Paris looks awesome, but way lacking in the food department. This is surprising, considering the gastronomic reputation of France. Do they even have food carts in the park? You can't walk five steps in Disneyland without finding a churro or popcorn or whatever else yummy food option.
@BellePullman5 жыл бұрын
It's crazy, right? The food in Disneyland Paris just sucks! I went with a "Free Dining" package which was pretty nice, but we were getting €48 meals that weren't worth half that. Nothing was bad, but very, very ordinary steak and fries type meals, the buffets were limited in options and closed up early - we had a 7.30 reservation and they stopped serving at 8? The quick service - well, Max is illustrating exactly what we found, places closed, incredibly slow counter service, really busy because they're so slow... I'm hoping that since the Parent Disney company bought out full control of the resort what... 2 years ago? that gradually it'll gain some of the advantages of the American parks - the place is absolutely beautiful (if a bit short on attractions) but the way it's run is all the weaknesses. Like enforcing the rules? Stopping people smoking... little things....
@TiffanyAllen17844 жыл бұрын
They have food carts, they have nice sit-down restaurants, and they have at least a couple of awesome food festivals every year. The video just didn't show any of that. They left a Chipoltle-level restaurant in favor of a Sbarro restaurant. They're places you eat at quickly so you can get back to the attractions. There are fine dining options for those who want them.
@TiffanyAllen17844 жыл бұрын
@@BellePullman The problems with the resort aren't because it wasn't owned completely by Disney, but because 1) Disney refused to put much money in into the parks when they weren't doing well, and 2) Disney runs on shitty American employment standards which don't fly well in a country where employees are treated better.
