During the first year of operation of Disneyland Paris, Disney realized that the park is having an low attendance records which the crowd is only about 25,000 up to 30,000 during weekends out of it's 45,000 to 50,000 (before the expansion and addition of Walt Disney Studios) capacity and gained a total attendance of 10M during the first year out the projected 13-15M and later much lower attendance at 8M at 1994 to 1995. This is also the reason why Disney lowered their number of employess or what they called "cast members". A lot of plans of Disney on the other Disney parks were cancelled and abandoned during the 90's (later replaced by lower budget plans). Disneyland Paris even barrowed some money on the other Disney parks on that time but up to this day, it never changed and never recovered since it opened
