When I was 21 my grandfather died a couple of months before Christmas. My dad decided to surprise my mom and booked us a trip at Christmas to WDW as that was our last grandparent and Christmas wouldn’t be the same. My mom was so happy to at WDW and it made it different than having to go through the holidays without her dad at home.

Have you forgotten the pandemic and the fact that they aren't fully staffed and lost tons of money? I think a lot of people expect way too much. With that being said, they shouldn't have raised prices for everything until the park is back to normal.

So true! For that kind of extra money, they should have offered way more. Plus, only four hours long, and the wait to get merch is long, the wait for food is long. Then they run out of merch? Seriously? How bad do you need to be at planning to botch this?

At least when I went to the holiday event in WDW they gave us endless cookies, hot chocolate and other snacks. Here they just gave a $10 lanyard

I’ve been going through a rough patch (nothing comparable to what you both are going through) and as a muppets and an OA fan, this vlog has truly comforted me in ways I cannot express. Merriest Nites was very underwhelming. I expect more from Disney. The regular park day gets you more (like fireworks). The muppets was nice but very hard to see from a very small viewing area. The best part of the party was the parade which is the same one you can see on regular park days.

Anela’s sitting here crying watching the parade and misses the snowmen too. 4 hours definitely too short for a pricey event with that much experiences to marathon through. I am sure ticket payers would gladly stay past 1-2 am or later to get through it all. We want to do this one year so hopefully it gets an extended run next year 🤞🏼
