Disnerd I love Sierra Boggess too. She is also my favorite Christine. Ramin Karimloo is my favorite Phantom. Team Rierra forever! Did you know that Norm Lewis plays King Triton in this? He also played the Phantom with Sierra as Christine some time during 2014. That was her final time playing Christine... or at least people thought. It turns out she was going to play her again this year in France but it never happened. The entire play was going to be sung in French and the entire cast was going to be French.

I'm not even the biggest Sierra Boggess fan because I don't know much about her but I still know she definitely has one of the greatest voices on Broadway! She can belt for miles and deliver as Christine flawlessly. Like, how??? I admire her so much.

Unfortunately lots of shows do this😭 They'll pick out certain scenes to film but not do the whole show. The most that there could be is a recording with very few camera angles that only was shot to preserve the show as most, if not maybe all Broadway shows do but don't quote me on that😅

But he did originate two roles on Broadway (Catch Me If You Can and Next To Normal) and eventually played Fiyero in Wicked so it still worked out well for him! Besides, on Broadway you may have a huge resume, big voice, and a hell of a stage presence and still get turned down by casting directors. (Cough Jeremy Jordan cough cough)

I say that Sierra Boggess looks exatcly as a live action Ariel should look unlike the 2023 Ariel. I don't want to be rude about that movie, but sadly I don't like it. I prefer the Broadway musical and to me it will always be a live action remake, since I like the story better and it was so many things in the Broadway musical that I loved along with the songs. I really wish that the Broadway musical had been a movie.
