We went to Disney Quest a year ago (my first time). Hey, I thought it was LOTS of fun! I especially liked the pirates ride/game/boat, and the jungle cruise river rapids. Maybe it was dated... i don't know. I didn't go there years ago. To me...it was just a great time! Thanks for sharing!!

I feel bad about this shutting down. The original DisneyQuest plan was to expand these locations to places that don't have Disney parks like New York, Toronto, Philadelphia, etc. However, the only locations that ever opened were this one in Orlando and a closed location in Chicago.

Watching this in 2019, and you're right about Neutral Density filters, they're like sunglasses for your camera. Use those when it's really sunny outside. Good job!

Fun fact: I actually tested that Magic Carpet game back when it was in development. I think they had it at MGM? I was little, so it's hard to remember. They randomly selected visitors to test it in front of groups of viewers. Best day ever!

Hi Tim, I´m a Pro photographer, the ND (neutral density) filter is used for slow down the shutter exposition, is like adding a black filter in front of the lents or like sunglasses for the lens, but without color ( is neutral) is used for some effects on on landscape photography, or when you are shooting in strong sun light and you need to use external flashes or a hi luminous lens, There r no reason to use on normal video. if you use it, you r only forcing the sensor, and make in more noise, specially in the dark Greetings from Monterrey Mexico.

Downtown Disney Springs is my one dose of Disney that I can afford because the parks are just so dang expensive but I absolutely love the atmosphere of Disney. I sure hope they don't add an admission price to DTD/DS..that would be so seriously disappointing. I can't wait until everything is finished, it's going to look so amazing!

I went to Disney springs, or downtown Disney, and everything is finished. So cool. my mom was so lost. She hadn't been there in YEARS. dluxe burgers is amazing. good burgers. And the fries were crispy and mushy on the inside. So perfect.

I had the best experience here ever. So first, we went on the Jungle Cruise, and we had no idea what to even do. We just frantically paddled this way and that, fell off a few water falls, and had the most hilarious travel path in the world. Two kids had better control than we did. So then we went on Aladdin and the thing that grabs your head was really pinching the back of my hair. I couldn't look anywhere except for forward or else the headset would fall off. Yet somehow, I managed to be the first person to find the jewel. I didn't question it. So then my dad didn't want to bring his camera onto Pirates of the Caribbean because of the shaking, and he has a really expensive camera. So he brought one so I wouldn't be the only one, shooting and driving at the same time. I drove while my dad shot. We ended up losing to a giant skeleton ship :(. So I went on the Mighty Ducks Pinball thing and pretty much just spassed on it. Buzz Lightyear had to be skipped due to a long line. But then I saw Cyberspace Mountain. I literally designed my ride in a few seconds, with a loop or twist everywhere. Then I got on, and my shirt flew up on a loop. Talk about loose restraints! After recuperating from my motion sickness, I went to the drawing thing. Note that going on three simulators that day does not calculate into a good drawing of Mickey Mouse. Then when we were leaving, we just now realized it was storming outside. We bought ponchos, and made a run for the House of Blues. We ate and ran to the parking garage. We forgot where we parked! In the end I made it home, but everyone else I went to Florida with ate hibachi that whole time we were going through that.

We had a blast at Disney Quest in 2014. I though the Wreck It Ralph stuff was super cool. There are so many unique things there. It is a pity they want to shut it down. I know arcades are old school but that's no reason to scrap it Disney.

The building with the Coca Cola signs on is the new "World of Coca Cola". The stand alone Atlanta version has a similar system to Club Cool at Epcot where you can try different verities of drinks from over the world, but has over 100 different samples to try. Also in the Atlanta version there is an opportunity to learn the history of the brand, a 4D Cinema and more. I think it's quite an interesting addition to Disney springs, but I reckon it'll just be the sampling experience as opposed to the other experiences found in Atlanta because from the looks of it the building isn't huge!

The Building with the Coke logo is probably going to be the World of Coca-Cola attraction/store announced for Disney Springs. Its supposed to have a testing center similar to Club Cool in Epcot. But also like a backstage bottle factory plant. which fits the new theme of Disney springs perfectly.

I love DisneyQuest. I remember when they were going to build a DisneyQuest in several major cities. I know they had it in Chicago for a while. I learned that at Downtown Disney Anaheim a DisneyQuest was supposed to be put in next to House of Blues but then they decided not to build it. I hang out at an arcade/bar all the time in Portland. They just announced they're expanding so it's a popular concept if it's marketed well.

Thank you so much for documenting the other half of Disney Quest! What I miss the most was an attraction called Ride the Comix which used the same VR helmets as Aladdin but you fought characters with a virtual lightsaber. They also used to have sticker machines that you could print out your picture with a Disney background. Never understood what the goal was in the Mighty Ducks attraction.

I believe the building is going to be a larger version of the cola shop at Epcot - including the drinks from different countries but with more to try. But, the one at Epcot will stay open on top of this.Also, planet Hollywood is being made into an observatory/ restaurant which should be interesting!! I visited Disney for 3 weeks over Christmas and didn't go to Disney quest - definitely regret not going :( love your videos !!

A neutral density filter is like sunglasses for the camera. When outside it will neutralize the image just like sunglasses do for our eyes. :)

I believe the neutral density filter is to help with sunlight without having to close the aperture of a camera. I think it's like sunglasses for a camera.

Well, it that case you had in the vlog. The difference was very minor. You could try experimenting into sunlight or in very bright areas of indirect light. Typically, the ND filter is used when you want to reduce light without having to adjust color, shutter speed or aperture. It's totally situational, but keep experimenting with it in the vlogs!

The UK 14 day ticket includes DQ although they don't advertise the fact. First time we went I paid $84 for myself and son. Next time lady behind counter said lets see your tickets, yes its included. With Magic Bands now, easy to find out if included.

I'm not sure if I am completely right, but from what I've heard, that Coca-Cola building is going to be a second World of Coca-Cola experience. The first is in Atlanta and is so much fun to visit! I hope it will be just as good as the one in Atlanta! The one in Atlanta has a large sampling area (like Club Cool at Epcot, but way more selections), a 4-D experience movie theater, and a small tour of how Coca-Cola is produced and what-not. Hopefully they will include many of those in this Disney Springs one too!

i seriously doubt this will close its in an area that doesnt need to be retouched for a while splitsville is relatively new to that area so its not in a good spot to have a need to get rid of it
