When I saw the Lancaster Festival Orchestra perform it in July 2012 a couple months after finishing my junior year at Fairfield Union High School I was like "oh my gosh I can't believe I am a senior". Nowadays I have graduated high school on June 2, 2013, Muskingum University in May 5, 2018 and Miami University for graduate studies in May 2020.

I will actually love fantasia 2000 and pomp and circumstance it was my farvorite part of fantasia 2000 with donald duck and daisy duck. I have one of VHS i watch a lot when i was in the shcool but i have viewed on my school. I listened all of the classical features and i love fantasia 2000 very much when i have watched since 2012.

All of the animals in the Pomp and Circumstance suite resemble animals from other Disney films, like the ducks from The Ugly Duckling, the beavers from Lady and the Tramp, the pigs from the The Black Cauldron, the flamingos from The Little Mermaid, the frogs from the The AristoCats, the cattle and chickens from Mulan, the goats and wolves from Beauty and the Beast, the turtles and raccoons from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the owls, skunks, deer and rabbits from Bambi, the moose from Pocahontas, the crocodiles from the The Rescuers, the porcupines from the The Fox and the Hound, the penguins from Mary Poppins, the camels and horses from Aladdin, the gorillas from Tarzan, the rhinos from Peter Pan, the hippos from Dumbo, the elephants and monkeys from The Jungle Book, the lions, wildebeests, cheetahs, zebras and giraffes from The Lion King, and Marahute, Frank, kangaroos and koalas from The Rescuers Down Under.

They always do that. Once they have the models, they tend to go back to them unless they have a new style for a new movie. Also, I think people like the familiarity, the feeling that all the worlds of the movies are the same one.

Yep, both the choir and the solo are unique to this version. Although there are cases where the choir sings "Land of Hope and Glory", this is the only version of Pomp and Circumstance that I know of with a wordless chorus.

Every-time I listen to this track, I always imagine a grandiose scenario in which the monarch of a mighty empire is about to be crowned. The soon-to-be-emperor has already taken his vows. He has already sworn over the Holy Bible to uphold the laws and traditions of the empire, and to preserve the realm from both foreign and domestic enemies. The Archbishop proclaims to the attendants "God Be Praised! Our new monarch is ready to take the crown!" and 4:58 the chorus fills with grandiose sounds the Basilica. As the music sounds, the emperor steps up to the altar, were the Imperial Crown is waiting for him. Then, after pronouncing the words "In the name of God and by the will of the people, I crown thee Emperor of the (...)" and the crown is placed on his head ( 5:39 ). Then, the Archibishop proclaims "Now stand up, Your Majesty. Thou shalt not bow to any mortal ever again" ( 5:45 ) The Emperor rises and faces the gathered crowd at the Basilica and the Archbishop says out loud "Long live the Emperor!" And the crowd goes ecstatic and roars back "Long live the Emperor!" and applause's and vivat's fill the air ( 5:59 )
