I had a really nice trauma kit in that kind of fold out, molle covered, bag. It was stolen out of my van. I've looked at getting another like what Sootch is showing, but have become less inclined. The thief took it and the empty, unlocked gun box under the driver seat. Not the second med kit or anything behind the seats. It was just tactical looking. As I replace it, the supplies are kept in a small-ish,$10, Harbor Freight tool bag, under the passenger seat along with the usual bandaid and aspirin medical kit. Not as bougie. I can put a gorilla tape cross on it. For that matter, my EDC trauma supplies ride in a non-descript zipper pouch in my day pack. It's marked and with ranger bands holding medical shears to it. That's what I'll stick in a hiking pack.

First Aid training is very important as much as having everything you need for those moments you need a first Aid kit

Have a variety of TQs. The CAT-T was designed for warriors...won't work on children, elderly or animals. And get training on how to properly use TQs.

BTW Iodine ointment is a great addition to a kit. Works as good or better than triple antibiotic ointments, with no issues with antibiotic resistance.

Nice video. Just my opinion but I believe in less gear, more training. I also believe med kits should be built with the most emphasis on the most likely situations. For example, people are much more likely to get diarrhea than to get shot. And diarrhea - without treatment - kills just as much as guns do.

Last us bag has one like this called the canteen nutsack, $35 us made, but the internal organization isn't great for first aid setup

Love your videos and nice pouch but... I would really recommend you understand how to use your kit. Some of the advice you talked about told me you didn't really understand how it worked - for example a chest seal.

Improve your training with your torniquete. By the way that you set up this, you didnt had enough training. If you ever need it, you will die.
