This is so enjoyable to watch. Suggestion for your toolbox to cut out rattling: after putting everything in, add a piece of pillow foam ( like used inside pillows) on top and curled around it all, then latch door--should cushion out noise. Thanks for sharing.
@philbo77702 ай бұрын
The pillow foam sounds like a great idea. Or an old blanket which could be used when you want to sit on the ground or large rock or wrap around you when it's chilly out.

Montrose is such a beautiful area. We met our AZ kids there about 30 years ago at a B&B. We became dear friends of the owners of the home. Stayed in touch with them until they passed away. Again, love the memories this trip is giving me. We are currently in Eastern Colo visiting the friend we shared all of these adventures with.

Becoming a widow at 50 I too faced the 2008 crisis. Only by the Grace of God was I able to survive. Buried my Mother, my husband and then 2 adult children. God is good and I used my heartbreak to encourage others . Thank you for being such an encouragement. Doing LIVE television for 18 years I was able to survive what I truly thought would end my life. Loss of loved ones and starting over with 10k when I too had to do short sale of my dream home. Thank you so much for helping me remember just how hard it was and how good God is. Elizabeth you remind me so much of my Aunt Betty. We lost her to cancer. We called her Saint Betty.

@@LiveSimpleLiveFree Yes HE can get us through the impossible. A dear lady in our community was sadly burned over 60% of her body as she was blown into the air during a home explosion. The community and her employer gathered and prayed, prayed and prayed. The Lord called her home . She left behind a family that loves her and many friends but all understand the pain she was facing after multiple operations was more than her little body could handle, God is good and she is no longer hurting. Please pray for Shelly's family.

I love you guys! Thanks so much for the vacation videos - I'm stuck at home, dealing with cancer and working full time still and can't really travel, so this virtual travel trip is awesome. A friend of mine and I flew into Montrose, CO in 2 Cessna 172's just last week - using Microsoft Flight Simulator, all virtual. It looks very real from the sky, so it was really cool to see it in real life as well from the ground. Your camper is amazing as well. I watch Liz Amazing's KZbin channel and she's been highlighting people spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on brand new campers that are just junk and dealing with dealers and manufacturers is a nightmare, sometimes their rig spending more time in dealerships than on the road, so you building your own really guarantees it's the high quality you want.

@LiveSimpleLiveFree2 ай бұрын
Yes, I know Brian uses a spray bottle with vinegar. I tried it, and it’s too much of a hassle. I could do that if I had to, but I’m much prefer having a sink. In fact, after a month in the camper, I can’t imagine being without a sink! if we’re careful with it, the 30 gallons of freshwater we carry in our tank will last us about four days before we have to find a place to refill.
@davidcamacho35132 ай бұрын
Hey, whatever works best for you. On a different note. How about the occasional side hustle? You build out ford e450 box trucks. Only one model, yours. Nothing shorter/longer. One floor plan, yours. They bring you the box truck, you build out what you did on yours. They’d pay you for the parts upfront. They have the option of using your Florida neighbor to finish up the a/c if they wish. Then they can use whomever they want to complete the solar. By the 3rd build, you’d be doing it with your eyes closed. If I could, I’d love to have your build. Just an idea.

Protection from what? There are no people out here. it’s much more dangerous in the cities than it is out here in the middle of nowhere. I’m much more concerned with security in the cities than I am out here. And animals are not really a concern. You must respect them if you see them, but you don’t have to fear them. Usually, they’re trying to get away from you!

You don’t have to WORRY about rattlesnakes or bears. Just be aware that you might come across one. Don’t fear them, but respect them and stay away if you see one. They will not bother you or attack unless they feel threatened. We had cell service there, so we could easily have called 911 if needed.
