i live in Wisconsin and i get mine in Allenton. rules are less strict because you can shoot off the fireworks of any kind in the state as long as you have a permit. also, if your upset with there prices, just buy the assortments, you get lots of fireworks at a low cost and you get a second assortment for free.

Yea, we do. But this year they were closed for about 4 months rebuilding the store, looks nice now, alot bigger.

As of January 1st 2012 Consumer Fireworks will be legal in Maine! No stores here yet, so in anticipation I took a trip down to New Hampshire to visit Phantom Fireworks to prepare Fireworks haven't been legal here in over 40 years and the town I live in is allowing their use ;-)

I tend to shop at Phantom because it's convenient and I like their products. I've got some bad shell kits in the past which resulted in destroyed mortars. They replaced by defective items, no questions asked. Yes you may pay more when going there, but their selection and customer service has always been good for me. Those things are worth the higher price in my opinion.

@boochieboy814 Yeah, well in Denmark we pretty much do not have such things as pyrotechnic licenses. Firecrackers are illegal to everyone lol. And the same goes for black powder. As far as I know, in Denmark you can only buy black powder if you're a hunter.

Omg, I live in Portland, Oregon. We have nothing like that here, we've got only seasonal tents, but I don't really like the stuff they have. Anything that explodes, goes more than 12inches off the ground horizontally or vertically is illeagle in this state. I remember when I was 8 years old and they had everything, now I'm 15 and nothing.

Since M-80's and cherry bombs are completely illegal in all 50 states, people either make their own,,,,or get them straight from someone that has a pyrotechnics license. It's so stupid you can't get them legitamately, but people can go right to the hunting store and buy a pound of black powder,,,as well as cannon fuse.

The prices at this store of sort of fantasy prices. Everything in the store is basically buy one get one free. So you get two items for that price. I guess you could cut the posted price in half. Are some fireworks legal in Hawaii.

Sheltons in Indiana has is bigger and has better prices especially since my cousin is friends with the manager. My only problem is I'm Colorado and barely go out there.

I live in Pennsylvania and it has about the same as you describe. Thats a great history of fireworks in Hawaii with the influx of Asians into Hawaii. Because when it comes to fireworks no one is going to tell them not to do it. I saw a video from Hawaii where it looked like the whole island was setting off fireworks. Then another video where this dude got busted with a major fireworks selling operation in his basement. Complete with a fireworks banner on the wall. It was all illegal.

@pyr0ph1L Yeah they suck.....nothing even remotely close to an actual M-80. I think the ball firecrackers you're talking about are the mortar shells that go inside the tubes,,and are shot in the air.....those DON'T suck ;-)

@boochieboy814 Oh I see. In Denmark all kind of firecrackers are illegal. So before i got my chemicals to make my own firecrackers, I just went to Germany, Poland, Holland etc. THEY have pretty awesome firecrackers :P

nah sometimes the things that are gone faster aren't always the best.....some people just have their own tastes in their choices...in my opion, wizard of ahhhs is too short and not as good as a mineshell mayhem.....and molten core is actually my favorite...huge breaks and good time...i buy the blue streak rockets everytime too cuz they have the best lookin breaks from a rocket i have ever seen and its another favorite.....but its just what the buyer likes so i mean, go right ahead haha

These pricing things are all marketing strategies. My grocery store has items 8 for $10. Macy has items $77.00 but now 40% off. You need a dam calculator to figure out how much you spend. And that is what they want because it works for them. Funny thing you never see Class B fireworks sold like this and in reality they are cheaper than Class C. So it is like driving a Mercedes at the VW price. Now you see how the VW is high price. Most SMALL Class B cakes are 5 to 35 dollars.

yeah, its like that pretty much every year,as far as someone getting busted for selling. but you said it, when it comes to fireworks, you cant tell a pyro lover not to burn fireworks... hehehe. and its always the small guy that gets busted for some reason. all the containers coming in around the same time, and they nab one dealer? i think law enforcement is sympathetic because they were raised with the same tradition gropwing up. heck, all the cops in my town have the best shows on NYE!

Even with buy one get one free phantom is still overpriced and is kinda a rip of. I think blackcat brand is the best and it is also one of the oldest and I can find fireworks from them really cheap. The wholesale place you went to had very good prices even for wholesale.

@fenwayjay0123 I know your comment is old, but I also live in MA, and go over to Hinsdale, NH, to the Phantom Fireworks there, and also to Winchester to a place called Stateline, although Stateline had a fire in September, and won't be opening again until sometime in early 2019. So, the last time I went, me and my friend went to TNT, and Phantom; TNT is SO expensive, it nearly gave me a panic attack, lol. $249.99 for a 24 ct. box of canister shells!? Even if it is buy one, get two free, it's still rotten to be charging that much. Still, I ended up spending about $500 there, and another $500 at Phantom last trip out. I love fireworks; I just wish they would legalize them in MA.
