Hi, it's been a while since I've left a comment on your video's, but I can assure you that I've seen them all. I'd just like to say that, all of your video's are very clear, despite being narrated in English. I think I speak for your entire Dutch fan-base when I say your video's are perfectly understandable just the way they are. You provide pyrotechnic entertainment all year 'round, while we wait for that one day we're allowed to use fireworks ourselves. Cheers!

Most private holder of an ATF fireworks license normally does just one show a year. I would recommend working part time for a professional display company; it is a great way to learn more about pyrotechnics. If you want to work for a pro company be ready to work the week of July 4th. This is the week they need the most help. If you cannot work that week they usually do not want to give you work at other times of the year.

Why do you need a permit to fire on private land?,over here in Britain we can fire fireworks in our gardens or on private land on any day of the year without having to get permission from anyone,i guess your laws are different to ours.

Hey Dave, most if not all canister shells are meant for 1.91" mortars (DR11). The regular consumer shells will most likely fit into the 1.81" (DR9) mortars. You might already know this but thought I give a shout out anyway.

While based in United States, I am fortunate to have video subscribers from all over the world. That is why I added all those countries to the forums of my website pyrotalk.com. I enjoy seeing comments from other countries. I only wish I could translate some of my videos for those that do not speak English. To everyone outside of United States I love you all and thank you for following my videos.

Great show! Especially considering that it was a small backyard show! Do you think you could send some of that rain to the desert dwellers like me? I got a good early rain on the 4th which made my shoot low stress. I got a good bit of family just outside of Pittsburgh so maybe I'll get lucky and have a chance to see some of your work live! There's even a possibility of me moving out there to help out w/my uncles business, which would bring me much closer to my passion!

Hi Dave... I enjoy your videos a lot and have learned a lot as well. With your Cobra firing system, do you use alligator clips or E-matches?? If you use E-matches, do you make your own or buy them already made?? I own a Cobra system and recently used ematches..

how much would a pyro company charge for a show like this? (like If I would want to hire a company to have a show like this for my party)
@displayfireworks112 жыл бұрын
It may be the exact opposite of the way you perceive it. If you set up a 10 to 15 minute display and shoot everything as a display, it may be better than slowly shooting things over a long period. Fireworks going off periodically over a period of hours may aggravate your neighbors more. Depending on the amount of sunlight the 930 to 10pm hours has always worked best for me. After 10 is pushing your luck. It is not a guarantee just minimizing the risk.

You will be getting a call very soon to set up an appointment for your interview. The ATF has 90 days to complete your application. The usually do it in half that time. You will have your 1.3 license soon I predict. Thank you for purchase my ATF DVD’s, send me an email when you get your license.
