Outstanding story John. So many stories I read where the opportunity is too good to be true and the opportunity was brought to you by a stranger …. Often means you are the target whether it is cops or criminals. Great job to you on analyzing the situation and the guy making the ‘offer’.

There is a lot of wisdom in that story! Thinking a few steps ahead instead of jumping right and being blinded from the possibility of a large payday, is a life lesson to take to heart! If $$$ was easy everyone would have lots it. I also like the community page ( even thought I get them, wrong sometimes 😅) and that you take time to respond to people's posts! Not a lot of KZbinr's do that. They make a post and ask a ? but then never give another reply.

Great story John and shows again how things work in that life. People who are calling you being on your toes in that life "paranoid" obviously don't know the life and haven't been anywhere near it. They just like to talk. They also miss the obvious, you and Anthony were associates at this point and the Genovese could have ambushed you guys with little or no recriminations. These naysayers are the kinds of guys who would have been hitting the bricks in their best running shoes when reality doesn't match their imaginations. You know the type.

very interesting john, I know that strip club as i am from Long Island, but I never hung out there. I always heard the mob had control of these clubs on Long Island. i used to go to some years ago. Can you tell us the current mob interest in any other strip clubs on Long Island. i know there aren't many, but a few in Huntington. I heard the Pagans tried to shake one down a few years ago. How about Mirage in Farmingdale? thanks, good stuff............
