Top effort and nice 🥉 place, Gerben! 🎉 Could tell that you were working hard, as I heard some mumbling 😜 💪 🚲

Awesome race you had there. Anyone know how to have the "mouse over" option on that critical power page, when you're on an appletv? I'm not quite sure how to read that graph. Is the grey you best ever, or is it the best rider in the race, compared to you?

Grey is personal best ever, but that was two COVID dances ago. 😮💨

Great racing with you. Your attack on the North climb blew half the field away! I was hoping to reduce the field on the South climb, then no one chased on the descent, so had to go solo…was a painful last 5k!

Yessss!!! 5k solo is epic!! Well done!

Do you think that your controllers provided an advantage in your attack and subsequent downhill to create a gap? I'm not trying to take anything away from you, but I'm curious to your thoughts. I think you showed good race sense by recovering and then hitting it every time the road went up.

@@IanEnder08 Yes. Riding the gutter netted no1 about 6/7 seconds. So it helps :)

@@IanEnder08thanks. It’s a pretty unique course with the tight corners, so steering was a massive help. Although it’s still worth noting when I attacked on the North and South climbs I was 1.5w/kg higher than everyone else, so would still have created that gap. Just the gap was even bigger with steering! As for the descent I don’t think I steered on the first part as was wait for the catch, I was surprised no one was catching so started steering to keep the gap. Worth noting all four in the chasing pack were on Trons and I was on an aero bike…I think that helped me a little also. Once down the hill it was a case of pacing hard on any kind of incline to grow the gap…I was lucky no one tried too hard to close!

Another good race Gerben 👍 Great snatching 3rd spot on the line. Since I'll never be in a group racing along with you it was nice to see my Ride On during this 😁

Thank you for the ride on and support. Much appriciated!

I think a post recorded voice over would work well, where you could talk about the interesting points and skip the boring bits.

No, I like hearing Gerben almost dying for hair...Screw the voice over crap.

On the Climb on the last Lap after you used your Feather attacking up the Climb… Once under the Banner you need to keep the Power on for 20/30 more seconds while going down hill… Just keep it in the Pain Cave, and you hope your Competition backs off for a second to try and catch their breath, and you can get that 2/3 second gap 🤔👍🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️
