Beside economic performance, they are also disappointed with the billions of ringgit given to Jakim, muslim institutions and, salaries increase and bonuses given to the over 90% malay civil servants and most hand outs are to the malays. Okay but what about the rest? And their Chinese MPs showing off their malay language proficiency, wearing malay costumes and most of their videos showing them helping mostly malay constituents! This is good but what about chinese, indians, etc? Nothing against the malays but these are what I believed the disillusioned chinese perceived. Can you blame them?

When they were the opposition, they criticized everything including why the gov didn't set the oil prices to RM1.50, why are cars not cheaper, the waive on PTPTN loans, the waive on tolls, why initial HSR by Najib so expensive. I could go on. Instead, we have soon to be RM2.30 petrol prices, cars still same price, no waive on PTPTN and tolls, HSR cancelled agreement and we had to pay RM310 millions to Singapore just to go back on our word and restart the plan again and most revised MRT stations during the 2018-2020 PH era got screwed hard in terms of parking space and connectivity. Go guling2 on the road la, Bersih 4.0! That's what PH supporters do best, talk big but can't follow through.

And even almost entire UMNO members reject cooperation with PH as they don't trust Anwar and DAP. No two way about it. Cina aside, let's get down to what matters. To put food on the table. Increase in fuel price/waiving subsidy Why? Their reason is to curb loss of money value and loss of monetary reserve from loss of smuggled diesel sold to Thailand. However removal of subsidies can also be a tool for curbing inflation yet our economy is recovering slowly and this may cause stagflation. In 2022 to 2023 at 3.39% down to 2.49%. It can hurt the economy with a sudden jerk of austerity from every household; fear of rising diesel cost. So what was the solution by gov? Which; The so called diesel card privileges under SKDS for company fleet trucks are to my knowledge seen only in registered sdn bhd. Inkling down to many uprising, small scale self employed individu from pakcik, ah-pek and Aneh to timbuktu with lots of pickups and trucks are hindered where coupled with slow approval of this card has struck not the T20 sdn bhd but rather the M40 and B40 in the mud. So what to do? Raise the price lah to offset the lack of subsidy. stuck with the rising cost because the card was not provided or lack of incentive guided to apply properly so the former was the easier option; raise price. Now everything is rising in cost. The rich ones get richer and the middle and low income groups struggle to compete against giants. The end who kena? The end consumer that work odd jobs pay for higher prices of goods. Here's the best part, the RM 200 or (BUDI individu & Agri-komoditi) only helps those who use diesel for transport frugaly opposed to for business that travels far and guzz up RM 200 in one week; again the farmers, startup, rising self employed can reconsider work as civil servants under those luxurious air conditioning. The disparity is getting bigger and bigger. Thanks MADANI I can enjoy cheaper 3sen eggs but pay 3ringgit more for veges, fruits and meat.

True. It's not about economic performance. Just a lot of missed promises. Subsidy may need to go but govt lacks sense in wasting money like setting up padu instead if using mysejahtera. Money saved if being wasted. Also why not limit subsidy to X per month based on mysejahtera scanning instead of letting unnamed people continue abuse subsidies. Just like AP ... also we have far too many civil servants. We can't fire but should stop hiring anymore until it becomes more manageable
