Getting more recommendations from this video! A great find of the year to dig psych music is this channel! The trip videos are also some kind of 10:43 perfect way to introduce these records. Took an acid yesterday with a couple of friends in the countryside, my first time going through your mixes on acid, it was crazy man. Long live!

Happy new year. You had a banner year. I'm still on the hunt for Chelsea lp, prices aren't cheap for that. Fairfield Parlour! Wow! That alone would make a year successful. Peace.

The Suicide hit jelousy generator the most for me actually. And right on you putting Fairfield Parlour up there. I love that record. If the Kaleidoscope records are perfect 10s, I grade that lp as an 8 or 9. In My Box is addictive. If ole Krakow didn't know the Arnie Anderson then you know you have something deep. HNY Derek!

Always cool when you manage to cross off stuff from your wants list. I managed to find a few bits 'n bobs this year, that I'd been after too. I remember when I first heard Frankie Teardrop on the John Peel radio show... a definite "what the!?" moment. Immediately ordered an import copy when it came out. They toured here in the U.K., but the British punks didn't get into them. Have you heard of a band called Chrome? If you like Suicide, you might enjoy 'em, although they don't sound like Suicide, they kinda fit the same bag musically, with a bit of an Amon Duul-ish vibe thrown into the mix. Here's hoping you have a great New Year, and manage to find some more records to cross off your list!

Yeah, people were not ready for Suicide clearly. I remember listening to Chrome a bit in my younger days, but left a bad taste. Kind of that industrial punk thing, right? I need my 10 year revisit. I might be better about expanding my musical outlook, exploring spiritual jazz or jangle pop more. Those have caught my attention this year.

@@PsycheDerek. Yeah, the early Chrome stuff is a definite acquired taste. I use to have three of their early albums, but they're not exactly what I'd call toe-tappers! I kept one which isn't too bad. That's from the period when they signed to Beggars Banquet Records here in the U.K.
