Yes, I'll admit it: I'm terrible with Lightning's EX Burst. She's one of my least used characters, and I'm just not accustomed to her EX Burst, as it's so different from everyone else's. Plus, I confess to using the D-Pad instead of the analog stick, so that's even more awkward for me. Lastly, I've never actually played FFXIII, so I'm going into her EX Burst blind.
Lightning has a pretty easy time with this fight. She's got so many tricks in her arsenal, and many of them are quite effective. Smite and Launch (without the HP link) are her two strongest Brv attacks, especially since she receives a slight attack bonus in Commando mode. Blitz is awesome for being a mid priority melee move, so you can throw it out without worrying about being blocked or losing to Vicious. Army of One has similar properties, but its startup is just too long for me to use as effectively.
Or you can, you know, just spam Thunderfall...

Although there is no villain representative in FFXIII. Feral Chaos seems to make an excellent antagonist for lightning in this game. Even in the tutorial when you fight against feral chaos, lightning is the one who fights him

Story-wise it's Garland who fills in as Lightning's antagonist. Though considering Garland IS Chaos...you're not wrong? XP At least we got Lightning Returns era Snow in NT to be Lightning's antagonist.

Hope was kind of annoying at first, but that's not really fair to think. If someone was responsible for my mom dying I'd be mad as Hell, too. He does get MUCH better though and has good character development.

Don't worry, even if you're using the D-pad, you can still use the analog stick to finish Light's EX Burst. I tried it and it worked...:)

I saw you held back. Proof... You saved your EX until the end. How good are you really? Kinda makes me mad after 600 hours I ain't at that level. I would love to see you go all out. Also, I think you were holding back because you had moments of just sitting there, you thought it through instead of just killing it. No instinct, just thought... It's weird to me.

He's got a very, very good idea of how the AI works. It's not so much thought as it is reading what they're about to do. For example, FC will often just stand and look at you for a couple moments before rushing at you from across the stage with Vicious. As all of his attacks have RIDICULOUS priority, attacking during these moments winds up with you losing a trade. And that _hurts._ Instead, he waits and dodges, and then counterattacks. It's pretty common in fighting games, once you're able to see it. (Personally, I suck at it.)

if the assist in this dungeon, the only assist provide is sephiroth, ultimecia, kuja, jecht, shantotto, gabranth, prishe and gilgamesh. Among of them, the longest appear assist is gabranth at ground. in the air, none of them that will provide enough time for you to using cure or cura.

You and I have much alike. We both enjoy Dissidia, we both do Let's Plays, and even our grammar is similar. But then I found out that you use your D-Pad to play Dissidia 012. This blows my mind, because my analog stick barely works and I use the D-Pad! I'm not even joking. This is ironic.

@SirDoubleYou44 Even if you do by some means, you will still for some reason get the same screen you would if you were bested against him, so either way, nothing special, but the fact you beat Feral Chaos that way is just a good way to say your a BOSS! (Found this on Duodecim Wiki so no, I wasn't able to.)
