Because in Final Fantasy 12, Gabranth has the recurring theme of being a royal's hound, and when he decides to betray Vayne to protect Larsa, Vayne comments "the hound strays", to which Gabranth replies one of his most famous quotes,"Even a stray has pride!"

as horrible as the voices were in 12, i think they did best with the judges. they sounded like they were in helmets. i think they should have kept his voice the same.
