so with you my friend. it took me a lot of the same amount of "time" to surrender and realize that I was separated from God. Well, that God was right there for me, always have been, and now is my time. Right now. God is with me, now. Absolutely amazing and beautiful to know this even though it is a challenge sometimes to stay connected. Mostly working on not holding on so tightly which, for me, turns to fear quickly. Rest in God. That's where I need to be, that's where I am. Best to you my friend. See you in our meditations!

I feel the same. I actually started talking to him in my meditations just a few days ago. I meditations have always been pretty much silent and just connecting with the Oneness but I have been feeling a need to just ask questions and listen for answers. He is part of the Oneness and so I just ask and listen and I'm here his reply. I guess it's really me talking to me and infinity and so on but it's been beautiful. Be Blessed my friend, you are.

I've been laughing my ass off today, as I noticed myself being taken out of consciousness by small details (a woman's pretty hind, some poor people scaring me by the thought that I'd be helping them as a service worker each and every day, some dead moments with a colleague where I didn't seem to be able to come up with anything funny) and like he said in the lecture, I'd hear this guru saying "oh, you're looking at women's booty again?", "oh, poor people scare you?", "Why do you care about being funny so much?". Truly insightful and the laughter is actually helping me to let go off these compulsive habits. Thank you for your wisdom, guru Ram Dass!
