Hello Doctor! Am very much excited about the surgical procedure and the outcome, it is amazing for me. I am looking forward to discuss with you a case for my younger brother. He has non metastasis high grade osteogenic sarcoma in his Right knee, with swelling and pain, as described by his doctor. We are from Ethiopia, is there any means to contact you for the details?

What's the outcome from this surgery. Would I be able to go bowling, baseball and participate with my same activities?
@rybread17 Жыл бұрын
Hi I had this done 10 years ago. I walk like any normal person but cannot run. You could bowl but baseball probably not, especially running.

@@rybread17 Hello, i have the same prosthesis, did you filt like sometimes you can also run :) ?
@djr457 Жыл бұрын
Because of a muscles export by the doctor you will lost lot of force on respective foot and that's why you can't do all the activities you was doing before but if you are a simple guy which loves to play video games, fishing and play sports like pingpong there are no problems.

@@djr457 Yea I feel the loss of force on my foot so I can't run. I can kinda of run but only for like 5 seconds and it's basically skipping lol. But yea I can do all sorts of other activities kayaking,fishing,shooting hoops,riding a skateboard. I appreciate all the other things I'm able to do.

Can patiet with 125 kg walk after surgery? And how long does it take to walk properly?
@jibbymarket2 жыл бұрын
I had this surgery and I was a bit heavier at the time and I was in a wheelchair for 3 months after surgery and I used a walker for 6 months after. straight leg brace and lots of physical therapy to get all the range of motion back
