The way the brother acted highlights how he has picked it up from his fathers behaviour

Lacey is my favourite character in this - she's so strong. I really hope a sequel/expansion is planned. Perhaps flashbacks of their life growing up?
@DanBalcaban6 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! That's actually a great idea and we were toying with something like that. Alas, at the moment cash is tight, so will see if we can get someone to finance it for us.

It’s so sad on what that family went through and someone will end up wagging war on domestic Violence one day.🤬

This was really well made. The actors are brilliant in it. My favourite is Lacey in it. I love how the character Lacey is strong in it. I wish it went a little longer.

How prominent is domestic violence in Australia?
@DanBalcaban7 жыл бұрын
It's very much present in Australia. Online shows that A survey of domestic violence data in Australia revealed that 1 in 6 women and 1 in 20 men have experienced at least one incident of violence from a current or former partner since the age of 15
@spFOX-pz3fx7 жыл бұрын
Dan Balcaban how did you acquire those statistics?
Dan Balcaban well, I can't really comment on that 'cause I'm not Australian, idk a whole lot about your culture. Maybe you're right, I'll take your words on it. However, in other countries like the U.S, Canada, and Europe, those numbers are overblown by left wing media.
@DanBalcaban7 жыл бұрын
That's a valid point. We are relying on statistics from various professional institutions and people that have studied and should know their facts. However, if it's overblown, one could say that is also a good reason to investigate it further and see what is being done to resolve such issues. We would need to explore things like upbringings, abuser and victim history, fatalities from an abuser or victim. There are so many variables and factors that make these statistics come to life.

We would love to make a sequel. If I had the funds I would make it. This film had a small budget but it was all from my credit card. So will attempt to raise the funds in future.

It is absolutely amazing on how violence agents women and their children can be. It's a very awesome ad and it teaches you on violence agents women and their and some times children can kill their abuseve fathers and sometimes girls who have abuseve father who attack them. These girls some times have very good boyfriends who help them ecaspe their abuseve fathers and save them. But sometimes when the abuseve fathers get released out on parole they can come and find them and kill their daughter and her good husband and leaving their children orphans and end up living the fathers side of family and can be make sure that the abuseve father of the daughter never gets out and never speak to him again.

Thank you so much for the comment. This was more so a short film based on experiences I had growing up in an abusive household. It is kind of an ad, but was not commissioned by anyone and was created by people volunteering their time and talent. The budget was thanks to my wife :)

That's a good point. The fact is that people are capable of doing great things and they are also capable of doing terrible things, no matter the age.

My wife still freezes when someone unexpectedly raises their voice and shrinks when they raise a hand to greet. She still walks on her toes litterately,ghosting through the house,she often startles me because she is so quiet. Abuse leaves a life long impression. The fear and terror installed is not over just because they are no longer In that situation. It's effect is often lasting.

Thank you so much for sharing this Donny. I really hope your wife is able to recover from the trauma of her experience.
