Distant Land by John Rutter, sung at the Voices of Peace Concert - 2008

On Saturday, March 1, 2008, Hope for Peace & Justice www.h4pj.org and Cathedral of Hope www.cathedralofhope.com hosted more than 2,000 people who streamed into the Meyerson Symphony Center. Not only were they treated to an inspiring speech by Dr. Maya Angelou, but also to two solid hours of amazing and life-changing experiences.
Under the direction of Dr. Tim Seelig, the music was as incredible and moving as it could possibly be, while guest watched videos with beautiful imagery.

John Rutter is the chorister's composer of the last century. Stainer is the chorister's composer of the 19th century. This proves that as so. John Rutter should be knighted. Definitely.
