I had to get my yellow fever shot every 10 years in the military. I took the malaria drug Mefloquine and could not donate blood for 5 years after the last dose. Never made me feel bad or anything. Don't know if they use that anymore or not.

really, every 10 years? Has it changed now? I was told it was one shot one for lifetime. As for Malaria pills there are different types that are more effective in different regions from what I've learned.

@@TravelingTayler That's what it was for the military. May not be the same for civilians, or it could be the fact I got the shot in 1991?
