VIII is a beautiful game so I was shocked they didn't play this beautiful song when I saw the show in Austin, Tx fairly recently. Why? 😢 Eyes on Me is such an iconic, beautiful song and crucial to VIII's storyline even if only heard twice (on Ragnarok and ending). U get teary hearing it. Such a beautiful game that I've played through it many times. . .especially now with it on my Switch. 😊

Attended last night here in Austin TX. Sadly, they didn’t play this gem😭 easily one of my favorite songs from the franchise. Shame that 8’s apparent unpopularity compared to other games prevents it from shining😞

100% agree. I was at the Austin show too and was sad they didn't play more songs from FF8 (my favorite FF). Hopefully Liberi Fatali inspires some people who've never played it to do so. Such an amazing game!

I love this song but not a fan of FF8. The story felt very disjointed to me and I didn't have an emotional connection to any of the main characters. I felt more for the people this song is about than my actual party. However, I feel if on the very off chance this game is ever remade it would GREATLY benefit from a story perspective. Also hate the way you get magic in the game, and how you could easily exploit the junction system to make yourself severely OP. Lots of a great ideas in this game but I don't feel they were executed well. Just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

@@alecbona4549 I’m playing 15 for the first time now and I share that exact sentiment as it relates to that game lol. The story feels like it’s riding backseat to the open world experience (which hardly feel like an open world experience at all!). Looking back, I can respect your take on 8. Makes sense. I just love the music and the general storytelling. The ability to relate to each character is rough. I can relate to Zelle, selphie and maybe Seifer. That’s about it lol

@@freshproduce2170 oh I also agree about 15. I actually would go as far as to say I didn't like that game at all. The story was a god damn mess (if you can even call that a story). I don't care what I had to read after or before to get the full picture...if I'm paying full price for a game I expect a full/complete game. Period. The battle system has potential but it also felt like a mess. And the lack of any female party members was painfully noticeable/missed.
