I went and saw Distant Worlds in Cleveland this weekend and they only played a about a fifth of this as the Battle Medley. Shame because this was amazing.

God, this was fantastic! I always had a smile on my face when I recognized all these tracks and remembered all the emotions experienced through these games :'D Wish I could've been there sooo badly! Going to visit Distant Worlds in Paris next year, I hope they'll perform this medley there too! :D

+RHCowboy Well it is a 15 minute piece. It would be kinda tiring to play the fast epic battle themes for that long so I guess the conductor arranged the halfway point for a rest.

Jack Koo The truth is; this was the same exact day FFVII Remake had been announced. I was there myself, and you could genuinely feel a transcending connection between all the fans of Final Fantasy. But yes, I do agree that usually it would be very respectful to wait till the very end to applaud and cheer.

Of the ones that I know are boss themes (or close to final boss themes), 6, 8, 10, and 11, are pretty much boss themes or final boss themes.
