My uneducated opinion about flavor order: 1) Sauce comes first because it's the least solid and will quickly get out into the vodka. 2) Pickles are probably next because they do have some juices in the cut sides to leech out. Their lettuce basically has no flavor so I would be surprised if you could taste it. 3) Smoke .. I'm sure they'd deny it, but I would bet that they use artificial smoke of some sort in there. If it was in the burger, that would leech out the slowest. If you'd put the BigMac in a blender first it would've been a weird and different result in my opinion, and NO I'm not suggesting you put yourself through this again! :)

Vodka Suggestion- Corn. All Corn. I recently picked up some Tito's vodka from Texas. If I was told correctly it is made from 100% corn and pot distilled, god only knows how many times. It has a clear and light flabor, slightly organic and slightly sweet. It's lovely. Cashew infused vodka might be good... BUT, Why not try making something real with the spirits you make. Rigatoni Vodka is an Absolut favorite around our house (see what I did there?).

@3:30 I’ve heard it called shrink-flatoin. We have what’s called a grab-bag size of potato chips “crisps” that back in the 1990’s had six ounces of product in the bag now it’s something like 4 - 4.5 ounces in the same size bag and the price is about triple what it was

I can't speak to a New Zealand Big Mac , but US Big Macs have shrunk . I'm pretty sure they used to be 2 ,1/4 pound burgers , and I'm pretty sure the bun used to be a little larger as well . But now the patties are 1.6 ounces . So they've cut 'em by more than half . I hadn't had one in decades ( I prefer a double quarter with cheese ) , but helped my buddy move and he fed us lunch . Grabbed a bunch of various things from McD's . I grabbed a Big Mac and I was REALLY disappointed with what it was .

Possibly a LOT of effort for something no one would ever ask for a second glass of.

@@marvinharms1891 ah, sadly I don't have a thumper pot (or any pot for that matter, but my basic bitch vevor is on its way) I was planning on making a white chocolate liqueur by using cuoredicioccolato's method of leaving cacao butter in the spirit for a week or so (although I was first going to melt the butter and blend it in my vacuum blender to infuse more flavour) before adding some vanilla, sugar and water. Hey there mate. There is hole in the market and I bet you can fill it. You have a bunce of calculators on your page but your are missing the very same calculator as all the others. And that is a mixing/dilution calculator for how to make a liquor at a specific ABV and sweetness. Adding sugar messes up all measuring equipment for ABV and if you can give us an online calculator for us to mix up our liquors you will be the GOAT. Happy distilling people.

Onions on McDonald's hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and Big Mac are dehydrated minced onions (like you find in the spice aisle in the grocery store) that have been rehydrated. I make rehydes (as they're called in the industry) at home and use them for lots of things when i don't have fresh ones or want to layer an onion flavor in a recipe. I honestly thought you'd just be using the sauce and make a Bloody Ronald. 🤡🎈

Before I got in to the video I made the guess that you're probably going to get something that closely mimics the special sauce more than anything else! And when you started describing that you could maybe taste mustard I started nodding with "yep, here comes the special sauce". The sauce is basically mayo, ketchup, pickles, paprika, vinegar and a buttload of sugar with a few other things. I can't imagine the bread really contributing much, nor the lettuce. Maybe the cheese is in there somewhere?
