Interesting to watch. And interesting to know that if you have abundant plant material a copper essential oil still might even pay for itself over time. 🌿🥀🍃

I think it could. At the very least, if "something happens" it may be helpful to have for a number of different kinds of distilling. :-)

Love this Heidi! I have dreamed of distilling my own herbs for at least almost 2 decades! The distillers have come a long way and the prices have come down comparatively to back "when." Great video!

Thank you so much, Athena! Although---I don't want to cost you money! LOL Remember--you can distill with kitchen equipment you already have, although you won't get essential oil, per se---just lovely hydrosol. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ61nn2Jba6Fn9E

I have two of their stills. The design is very practical and easier to use than alembics that need rye flour paste or tape to seal.

Hi, Michele! Yes, it's from a company called Copper Pro. The owner has a few videos here on KZbin, as well. One thing I didn't check out, and I must do this...is what kind of metal he uses for the solder. I was reading Ann Harmon's book on hydrosols and she mentioned that she had purchased a still that was soldered with lead YIKES! So, I need to check into this with this company. Copper Brothers (where I get my alembics) doesn't use lead.
