Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2024 Athens with my Scrambler Ducati / Dominika Rides

Hello my dear friends!
I am proud to share this unique annual ride with you all! The distinguished gentleman’s ride in Athens, 19 May 2024!
We had 170 riders participating in a 5km ride, starting in Plateia Kotzia ending in Mount Lycabettus!
Wonderful ride, everyone was dressed dapper & I happy to share some moments from our ride with you all!!!

It's great to see all of the European motorcycles! I went to a motorcycle event in America (Blessing of the Bikes Baldwin, Michigan) this weekend and 90% of the bikes in attendance were Harley Davidsons. I have a BMW and a Ducati!

I love that these happen everywhere. They rode by our house in Seattle and woke my daughter up…sleepy kid. It was very cool. Somewhere between 70-100 riders, I lost count. 👍🤪🏳️‍🌈

And even if you were to honk, especially in a group ride with fellow riders so close, you don't do it like an idiot but holding on it for dear life. You do friendly short bursts of horn. B B Beep ...B B Beep! 🎵 These riders just creating a bad name for bikers in general and creating more hatered towards bikers then getting other road users to love us or get excited. 🤷‍♂️🙉🔇

If there's some respect left about men's mental health, one should think how to improve it, rather than worsen it!!! Behaviour like an angry Athenian taxi driver, piggy back on a genuine cause for a cheap copy and paste fashion show definitely gives a bad name to motorcyclists. Raise awareness?.... blood pressure more likely! Making a real impact is better to donate first whatever one can afford to mental institutions and Cancer hospitals, rather than spending for fashion! After all "distinguished gentleman" means the one who earned and command respect (including behaviour).... for you anglophones! So please accept some constructive criticism, contact as many bikers as possible (Athens has plenty!) starting from the suvlaki delivery guy and next year I am sure you will be more than a handful! One should remember copying or mimicking someone, one becomes a bad version of them!
