I'm cybran, I gotta give it to sealforce. Man that was a brutal ending, thought team 2 might come back but that navy just hard to widdle down so spread out like that. Also holy crap those battleships took what like 5-6 asswasher passes. That map though, looked really weird, almost like AI was told to recreate Setons, but don't make it look like you recreating Setons 🤣

Its almost like someone asked the AI to copy setons, but turn the map 45 degrees and the land got deformed in the process. Those battleships are very sturdy. They are probably using some kind of regenerative alloy to keep their ships active even under extreme fire.

I think a big problem Team 2 had was the lack of coordination between the T3 arty and the Novax sats. every time you showed the northern side of the map they were never targeting the same base.

Coordination is key, especially when trying to take out infrastructure on the other side of the map via low atmosphere lasers and ground based artillery.

Man how do you not invest heavy into navy on a 60% water map... as soon as I saw team 1 going into navy and team 2 out of it I knew who was winning. Team 2 had a sera... and a UEF, arguably the best for navy with their cruisers just blew my mind.

Yah... I have no idea why they did not invest in naval units more as well. It's almost like they did not want to win / use naval units to win, at least that is what it seemed.

if this map were a full 20x20 instead of a 15x15? i believe it would be more interesting than setons. And maybe now that mercy snipes are more uncommon we might start seeing more firebug usage, the cybran suicide bomber walker beetle.

Those fire beetles are fun to watch swarm colossus. It makes me laugh watching tiny "bugs" swarm a giant robot. There have been a few map gen maps that I wanted to become dev made maps. This being one of them.

What does "The Ladder"/Custom mean?

Ladder refers to Ranked matches used by the matchmaking system. Custom refers to games that were setup by players and essentially anyone of any skill can join. You can tell the difference by looking at the ratings for each player. If they have an exact number its a ladder match and if its a rounded number, i.e.1000, 1300, etc. its a Custom match.
