I am loving the more subdued colors of the oxide. I tend to water down my distress inks so they aren't so vibrant so the oxides will probably work well for me.

In all honesty, I've had the oxides for a year now and rarely ever touch the originals.

So I haven’t seen demos using stamps…is water coloring or backgrounds the primary technique for the distresses?

Yes distress are primarily techniques. The oxides can stamp though, the regular don’t stamp crisply

Actually it's because the craft mat is more reflective. Otherwise the glare is usually not a problem

How do you think the oxides compare to the distress when using the ink smooshing technique?

Not sure what the ink smooshing technique is, but he said you can use them in the same way as distress but you will get that milky look

exactly, that is the main difference. It was described as "milky".

Natalie Düker I would have no problem shipping internationally but I would probably ship them in March if the winner was international since I'm heading to Germany and Germany has such inexpensive postage versus Canada where postage is outrageous

Does the distress glaze work with the oxide inks?

Not sure...I don't have the glaze to try it out but I assume it would work

Michelle i just saw that video and hè says you don't need the glaze because the oxide will not washed of or if you go over it, it will not change like the ink would do, i hope i could help 😊😋
