Well, I can certainly understand why you heard "oohh" & "aahh" when you first showed this technique. I love mixed media looks, but haven't got into it as I don't feel I'm artistic & I think you have to have an eye for placement, colour, balance, etc. You certainly have all that. This is the second tutorial I've watched of yours & I like the way you are casual & have little giggles, which makes me smile. You make it personal, almost like I'm in the same room. Maybe if I watch you enough I'll get brave & give it a try. Thanks so much Raquel!

Hehe, yes, it's kind of magical when you lift the paper. Go and try yourself! It may not turn perfect at the first attempt (none of mine are anytime anyway) but they don't have to be. As long as you like it and you enjoy the crafting time spent, I think it's worth it :) Thanks for your comments! Have a lovely weekend! :)

The technique is so beautiful and to listen you it is as sitting next to you working together and having fun. I love how you explain. Always you bring a smile into my face. One can feel that you do all with love and enthusiasm. So wonderful how you changed the design because of one " mistake" and thank you to show that also you make " mistakes " and not cut them out of the video. As my Belgian silkpainting teacher always told: In creative world there are never mistakes only reasons for changing your design. Thank you for all your work and friendlyness. Lovely regards Bettina

Thanks very much Bettina! I thought I already replied to the comment, so my apologies if you get it twice! I do agree with your silkpainting teacher, sometimes those happy accidents make you think outside the box so you try something that otherwise would had never tried and sometimes it turns out to be even better than what you had planned! :) Thanks very much for watching! It is really a pleasure reading your comments and knowing you're out there watching! :) have a lovely rest of the week!! big hug!! Raquel

Thanks very much Theresa! I'm really happy you liked it! :) Yes, it's a great technique! Tim is great with that! I hope he gets well soon! When I designed the stencils I must admit I wanted open holes this time, so I could actually do this technique with them :) Have a lovely rest of the week!!xxx

Wow. That was amazing. You are really good at that. I hope I can do it like you did.

I'm sure you'll do it! It may take a couple of attempts (amount of ink and water may be the trickiest part and knowing what part you've put glaze on) but I'm sure you'll get the magic coming! Ask me any questions if you need! Take care Frances! :)

Hola Raquel, me encantan tus sellos, me puedes decir dónde puedo conseguirlos en España? Gracias
@scrapcosy5 жыл бұрын
Hola Isabel! Gracias a ti! Me alegro de que te gusten! :)

Lovely cards! I really like your stamps and stencils. I went to your Etsy-store but couldn't find out where you are shipping from, which affects taxes and customs fees. Are you in the EU, or outside? All the best!

Hi, I'm based in London, in the UK, so I ship from there. Thanks for watching! I'm really happy you liked these! :)

Can I buy the stencils in the USA. Your shopping is so expensive. You really have some talent
@scrapcosy5 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much Frances! In USA I know Simon Says Stamp carry some of my stamps and stencils (not sure if they have the new ones, but have a look) and also you can see other stores that are also PaperArtsy stockists in the link below (they may or may not have mine, have a look): blog.paperartsy.co.uk/2019/01/new-paperartsy-products-january-2019_21.html Shipping is expensive because it's tracked and signed, first item costs a lot, but if you buy more than one, the next items add a little bit on top, not double the shipping. It's not very accurate, but it's the best I can do. I hope you are able to get my stamps and stencils anywhere there and you get to play with them! Thanks for watching!! :)
